Brief biographical note

Kobzar Alexander was born in Kiev. But soon his family moved to the Obolon town of the Kiev region. In this city, the future actor spent almost all childhood, and then his family moved to Nizhyn Chernihiv region. That's where Alexander first became interested in theater.

Alexander planned to enter a pedagogical college, but one day he was invited to participate in the production of a local school of culture. The young man liked it so much that after a while he managed to become a student at the Kiev Theater Institute. Karpenko-Kary. When the Kobzar was asked if he had much in common with his character, the actor asked that they had practically nothing to do with them. He does not possess any mathematical and detective abilities, but his character is really difficult. To fulfill this role, Alexander had to learn a lot of text and spend 16 hours on the set in a wheelchair, which ended in huge calluses on his hands.

The actor clearly shares work in the cinema and in the theater. The first - brings income. The second - it helps, in his opinion, to grow in a professional sense.

Theatrical life

Alexander Kobzar, whose biography is inextricably linked with the theater, has played many roles: for example, in such performances as "Spectators for a play are not allowed!", "Cyrano de Bergerac", "Lolita" and "The Last Hero."

The first theatrical performance Kobzar saw as a young man, and she made an indelible impression on him. It was "The Lady Without Camellias" with Ada Rogovtseva in the lead role in the interpretation of Roman Viktyuk.

One of the first performances, which Kobzar staged at the Nezhinsky Theater, was "Morphine" for Bulgakov. And to this day Alexander recalls this time with special warmth.

But the actor and director states that in one theater alone you can not earn money. In addition, the rate of actors there is the same, despite the amount of work performed. At the same time, movie actors receive about the same amount of money for a single shooting day as they need to earn a month in the theater. These circumstances, of course, do not allow the theatrical art in our day to rise to its former height.

Favorite performances

The first performance, which caused a storm of emotions in Alexander Kobzar, was the play "These free butterflies."

The actor got a role in it when he worked in the Donetsk theater. And this role was the main one. He embodied on the stage the image of the blind musician Don, who spent the whole day locked up in his apartment and composing music. In the hope of getting rid of the excessive care of the mother, Donald moves to a rented apartment. That's where he meets the girl Gil - bright and liberated. From this moment begins their love story, which, unfortunately, ends with the death of the protagonist.

Already in Kiev Kobzar gets his next role in the production of "Spectators for the play are not allowed." In this play Alexander got the role of director Lloyd Dallas, whose actors behind the scenes of the theater arrange their own, "special" performance.

And, finally, we can not fail to mention the play "The Last Hero", for which the actor received a prestigious award - "Kiev Pectoral".

Awards

The director became twice the winner of the prestigious theatrical award "Kyiv Pectoral". The first time he received her for work in the play "The Last Hero." The next time the award went to Alexander in 2010 for directing the play "Playing Chonkin".

Kobzar about his uneasy character

The actor and director admits that sometimes it may not be easy to work with him.

Leadership qualities are known. For example, if you can not agree with the director during the production of a performance on any issue, then Alexander can not calm down for a long time until the issue is resolved in his favor.

Creative plans

Kobzar Alexander admits that he likes to play the villains both in movies and on stage. Typically, such characters are better script writers. Therefore, in the future, he plans to play more than one negative character.

Alexander likes to work with such directors as Zaza Buadze, Oles Sanin, Oleg Turansky, Volodya Lert, Taras Tkachenko and Sergei Chekalov. And in the future he plans to meet with them more than once on the stage.

Recently, the actor and director had a desire to create a creative tandem with Radu Poklitaru. True, Alexander Kobzar does not yet know how this venture can be implemented. Poklitaru is known primarily for creating masterly theatrical choreographic miniatures.

In an interview, Alexander Kobzar admits that he does not like dictatorial directors, but he respects those who leave an actor with a bit of creative freedom. Moreover, working moments already cause a lot of emotions, therefore it is important to help the actor to reveal himself, and not to turn him into a puppet.

The long-standing dream of Alexander Kobzar is to devote himself entirely to directing. But so far he can not do it.

Alexander Kobzar: personal life

Alexander's wife is also an actress. With it, he met, when he studied at the acting department at the Institute. Karpenko-Kary. Together they went to conquer the stage of the Donetsk theater in the early 2000s. Then they returned together to Kiev.

Kobzar Alexander has a daughter, Varvara and son Prokhor. So far, none of the children has shown interest in theatrical art.
