The history of the name of the painting passed three stages. Initially, the creators of the film approved the working name of 50 First Kisses, in fact, it was used in a literal translation for rental in our country. Then the first replacement followed, the producers and the director decided that the first would be not kisses, but dates, and the picture acquired the name Fifty First Dates. Finally, the crew came to the conclusion that it would be more blissful and shorter if Fifty was changed to the number "50". As a result, the big screens of the movie came out under the name 50 First Dates.

And another interesting fact about the performer of the main role. Initially, the project was special, it was developed for another Hollywood film star - Cameron Diaz. Then for the role of Lucy as a pretender was determined charming and unique Julia Roberts. Well, in the end, approved the no less famous Drew Barrymore, the heiress of a great actor's dynasty, in the talent of which no one even doubts.
