15 things that you brought home from vacation, and 5 that you forgot

Lucky people going on a long trip to spend a vacation by the sea, they never know what they will bring home. Of course, they plan to please their friends and colleagues with interesting stories, lots of photos and small memorable gifts. In fact, it turns out somewhat differently. Alien beach adventures, contrary to expectations, do not arouse much interest, and the pictures do not fully reflect the experienced impressions. Buddies politely gasp, groan and in every way portray delight, but it causes great doubt the sincerity of the emotions expressed by them. But that is not all…

Unexpected findings

Few tourist or holidaymaker will resist the temptation to bring something particularly colorful, characteristic only for the area in which he was fortunate enough to visit. And it does not matter that regardless of where these souvenirs are purchased, in Turkey, in Egypt or on the Southern coast of Crimea, they all have somewhere on the side or below the insignificant inscription "Made In China". The problem is that these items are absolutely devoid of any consumer value. In other words, they are completely useless. Where after the holiday to put the ears of Mickey Mouse sewn to the rubber band, or the false teeth of the Earl of Dracula? And yet there is an inflatable shark, an Indian headdress made of feathers and many other things, including some special sweets, which, it turned out only after arrival, can be bought at home, albeit twice as cheaply?

A typical list of items brought from vacation

  1. A very thin wallet and a negative balance on a credit bank account.
  2. Sunburned nose from sunburn.
  3. A toy that you swore never to buy for a child.
  4. Combed traces of mosquito bites.
  5. Sunblock, bought at such a high price, that now the hand does not rise to throw it away, although it is not needed anymore, and after a year the storage period will expire.
  6. Guides and prospectuses of tourist attractions that you have not visited and will never visit.
  7. Children, and, oddly enough, yours and in the same amount.
  8. Disposable dishes from the airplane and hotel.
  9. Mini-packs of soap, shampoo, balm, toothpaste and hand cream (also from the hotel).
  10. Firecrackers and crackers, which the children promised to throw, but still took with them.
  11. Sea sand in the most unexpected places.
  12. Algae stuffed with children that way, then here, too, is unpredictable and for some strange reason.
  13. Pain in the stomach from eating, which you can eat only on a trip. All humor is that under other circumstances it would cause instant, but painful death.
  14. Someone's panties, it's unclear why they were in your luggage.
  15. A spouse who decided that stopping to go to the toilet means to show weakness of will.

Loss List

Everyone, rejoicing at the finds and what was saved (and this is almost the same thing), should be prepared for the inevitable losses. It can be:

  1. A pair of cowards left in the dryer.
  2. Blanket, without which your baby can not fall asleep.
  3. Charger for mobile phone.
  4. Good and expensive sunglasses.
  5. The keys to the house.

It should be noted that the list of irretrievable losses is usually three times shorter than the list of happy acquisitions. So is it worth it to worry about trifles?
