Yu. N. Chernov was born in a family of ordinary workers, his mother was a seller in a store, and his father was an artist at one of the factories of his native city. During the life of Yuri's mother - Valentine - was very sympathetic and kind person - people came to her store with great pleasure.

Yuri had to withdraw secretly from everyone, including the teachers of the circus school, who did not welcome the double life of their students. Therefore, Chernov had to "bury" not one relative to get to the rehearsals of the film.

This film became a real masterpiece, in which the life of schoolchildren was described without deceit. It was like in real life. The film was released in 1968, and its premiere was a great success. Since that time, Yuri began to recognize on the streets, fans did not give him a pass, the girls asked for autographs. Schoolchildren often uttered the phrases said by Syromyatnikov in the film, and they still have not come out of use.
