Where to give a trifle: simple advice

Almost every resident of our vast homeland has a piggy bank, a jar or even a small bag with small coins somewhere at home. Apparently, this passion has remained with us from distant ancestors, accustomed to hoard gold coins and then bury them in the ground. But if you are not involved in digging up the treasures in your plans, and the trifle accumulates, sooner or later you have to get rid of it. Since our Mint is working for glory, and the number of 5.10 and 50 penny coins is growing regularly, sooner or later the question arises - and where to put all this wealth? To hand over a trifle, even more or less large, is quite problematic, if you do not know the little tricks with which you can get rid of even the most impressive "kubyshka" in a short time.

The first thing that comes to mind is to exchange the contents of a piggy bank for paper notes at the nearest store. Of course, this method can be good, but with a combination of a number of circumstances.

First of all, for the employees of any store to decide to exchange your trifle for big money, they should have a need for this, because they have no direct duty to do this. Secondly, when you decide the question of where to hand over the trifle, it is worth considering what will happen if you bring your treasured bag to the cashier at the moment when the influx of visitors will be huge. Most likely, you are courteous (well, or not - this is as lucky) advise you to apply with a trifle to another place. And, thirdly, even if you still overcome all the obstacles and the cashier took pity on you - a lot of small things will not change, because a huge amount of its store simply does not need. Therefore, if you have accumulated a fairly large amount in coins, it is worthwhile to think about where to rent the trifle and look for another option.

So, if the store in walking distance was an impregnable fortress and your wealth is still pleasantly ringing in your bag, you can try your luck at the bank. But before you do this, count the small change yourself and put it into envelopes at face value. This way you will not only make life easier for yourself and for an operator in a bank, but also minimize the likelihood of error in recalculation. Immediately it is worth mentioning that it's not worth to go to the bank at the height of the working day or at the end of the shift, because your trifle will have to be counted, and it will take a fair amount of time.

Still, when deciding where to transfer the trifle, it is important to remember that the bank is not obliged to provide money exchange services. Such a service can be provided to them, but only for a fee (the commission may be about 3% of the amount, but not below a certain limit). In order not to worry about the question of where to transfer the trifle, it would be more expedient to put this money into the account, pay them any payments in the bank or transfer the amount to a plastic card. In the latter case, you can get your coveted crisp bills almost immediately, taking the required amount through the terminal.

Where it is possible to hand over a trifle still? Try to contact the pharmacy. Taking into account their rather specific pricing policy, which leads to the fact that not only rubles, but also kopecks, small items, even with the smallest denomination are indicated on each price list, they are in demand. But here you can find the same danger as in the store - a large amount you will not accept, because the turnover of small items in the pharmacy is not prohibitive.

Well and one more interesting variant is an old kind Mail of Russia. In addition to servicing the postal sphere, it also deals with the delivery of pensions, the payment of all kinds of benefits and the reception of utility bills, so the need for small items is quite large here. But before carrying the entire bag at once, it is worth consulting with the operator working with the money and asking how many coins they are ready to accept from you. Again, like in the case of a bank, you should not come at the end of the day - you can count the money in the mail, unlike the bank, manually, so the operator will hardly agree with you all evening.
