Coach career before the collapse of the USSR

Coach Vyacheslav Grozny became in 1985, when he started working in the complex scientific group of the Dynamo Kyiv football club. A year later, Grozny was invited to the coaching headquarters of Zaporozhye Torpedo for the post of one of the head coach's assistants, and a year later he took the same position, but already in Zaporizhzhya Metallurg, which at that time was performing in the First League of the USSR. In 1989, Grozny went to work in a club from Vinnitsa called "Niva".

In all four clubs, Vyacheslav Viktorovich did not stay longer than for one season. In the biography of coach Vyacheslav Grozny there are no periods when the athlete stayed in one of the clubs for a long time.

Coaching career after the collapse of the USSR

In 1991 the Soviet Union ceased to exist. At that time, Grozny worked in the football club "Niva". In it, he remained until 1992. In 1993, the coach did not work, as he decided to take a short break.

Season 1994-1995. Vyacheslav Grozny began in the coaching staff of the Moscow "Spartak". In the capital club, Vyacheslav Viktorovich worked for a total of 5 seasons. In 1996, after two seasons, he left the club, but in 1999 he returned to Moscow again and worked here for another three years, since he was appointed to the post of head coach of the Russian national team.

Terrible held a coaching position in Dnipropetrovsk "Dnepr" in the season 1996-1997. And in the Bulgarian football club under the name "Levski", where he became the best coach of the championship. Grozny was forced to leave the Ukrainian club. One of the players of the Dnipro doping before the matches of the Ukrainian national team in the selection for the World Cup in 1988, and this was the reason that the Football Federation of Ukraine for life forbade Vyacheslav Grozny to carry out coaching in the country.

The beginning of a new coaching career

After Grozny left in 2002 from Moscow's Spartak, a new stage in his coaching career began. Grigory Surkis decided to cancel the disqualification of Grozny, and in 2002 the coach headed the Kiev "Arsenal", where he successfully worked until 2004.

After two seasons in Kiev and receiving the title of the best coach of the championship of Ukraine in 2002, Grozny returns to Zaporozhye and becomes the head coach of the local football club "Metallurg". After the season, Vyacheslav Viktorovich stopped his coaching career and began working as a methodologist in the Football Federation of Ukraine.

Throughout 2007, Grozny passed on his experience to young beginning coaches, advised teams, lectured and worked as a football expert on one of the Ukrainian football channels.

A year later, the coach returned to Kiev "Arsenal", and a season later went to Kazakhstan to train "Tobol". In the Kazakh championship "Tobol" took 6th place and left the Cup of the country ahead of schedule.

In 2012, Grozny was appointed to the post of head coach of the team "Hoverla". After its disbandment, he left for Tbilisi Dinamo.

From the very beginning of work in Uzhgorod, Grozny faced with the fact that the club's management does not pay salaries to players. This was one of the main reasons for the departure of the players from the team. In the summer of 2016 the club was disbanded.

Achievements

Working in Spartak, Grozny won the Russian championship five times. For the first time the team won in 1994, after two years again won. Since 1999, "Spartacus" three times in a row became the champion of the country. After Grozny and Romantsy left the club in 2002, Muscovites could not win the tournament for 14 years.

In the seasons 1996-1997. And 2005-2006. "Dnepr" and "Metallurg" went to the final of the Cup of Ukraine on football. In 1996 and 2002 Grozny was recognized as the best coach of Ukraine, and in 1998 - Bulgaria.

Despite the fact that in Grozny, Grozny trained only a few seasons, he managed to open a large number of players who became famous. Among them, it should be noted Nagornyak, Gorshkov, Kosovsky and Nadula.

During his first appointment as head coach of Arsenal Grozny was able to see the talent of Oleg Gusev. Over time, Oleg was able to become a legend of the Dynamo Kyiv and the Ukrainian national team. Gusev played in Ukraine in 2006 at the World Championships, where he scored the decisive penalty shoot-out to Switzerland, which allowed the team to enter the quarterfinals of the tournament.

During his coaching career, Grozny raised such players as Andrei Bogdanov and Dmitry Chygrynsky. The second became the star of the Donetsk "Shakhtar" and moved to "Barcelona", but because of injury he could not gain a foothold in the Catalan club.
