Vitold Pyrkosh is a famous Polish actor. He acted in films, known for his theatrical roles. The actor's birthplace is covered in mystery. He was born (according to official data) on January 1, 1927. The city in which he was born, according to the metric, is the current Ukrainian city of Lviv. However, in an interview, the actor said that in fact he is a year older. And Vitold Pyrkosh was born in the city of Krasnostav (now - the territory of Poland). But in 1927 the family moved to Lviv, and the grandmother registered the child in local authorities a year later, wishing that he did not go to the army at an early age. In fact, he was born on December 24, 1926.

Early years, the beginning of a career

At school, young talent did not even dream of becoming an actor. By his own recollection, the boy did not study very well. As a teenager, he could not choose his profession. He tried to enter various lyceums - land reclamation, hotel business, shopping ... But it was in the acting school that he was accepted from the first time. And it was fate.

Witold Pyrkosh graduated from the State Higher Krakow Acting School. Ludwig Solsky in 1954. In the same year he made his first debut on the stage of the theater named after Stefan Jerome in Kielce. He played in Vladimir Pezhinsky's play "Frivolous Sister". But he did not like the city, he felt there as in the province.

With the help of director Zbyshek Cibulsky, Vitold went to Krakow, then to Warsaw. Two years later, the actor appeared on a wide screen, in the film "The Shadow" by Jerzy Kavalerovich. Then came the turn of the acclaimed "Manuscript Found in Zaragoza." In 1968, he plays an auctioneer in the film adaptation of Boleslaw Prus's novel The Doll. In the Soviet Union, he was recognized and remembered on the series "Four Tankmen and a Dog," in which Vitold was given the role of Corporal Franek Vihura. For him, these were the best years of the youth period.

Vitold Pyrkosh was married twice and had three children. His first wife was Eva. With her, he had a son, Paul. In 1964 he registered a marriage with another woman - Christina. He lived with her until his death and was happy. They had two daughters, Witold and Katarzyna. Although he made many acquaintances and was known as a good comrade, he had very few bosom friends. The main quality of Witold was a sense of humor, irony, sometimes even somewhat painful for others. If he did not love someone, he did not consider it necessary to hide it. The actor became an honorary citizen of the Polish town of Pysdry. He died at the age of ninety years in Warsaw. The urn with its ashes rests in the local cemetery. The death of Vitold Pyrkosh became a tragedy not only for many of his fans, but for a whole generation of lovers in films with his participation of people in different countries.
