Thermoregulation of the human body allows you to keep the body temperature constant

When you change the parameters of the environment that surrounds the person, in this case the microclimate, the thermal state of his health also changes. If any conditions violate the body's heat balance, then immediately there are reactions that restore it.

Thermoregulation of the human body is a process of regulating the release of heat, contributing to the maintenance of a constant body temperature, which is close to 36.5 degrees. Conditions that violate a person's normal thermal regime are called uncomfortable. The conditions under which the metabolism in the body is normal, there is no tense environment with heat exchange, are called comfortable. They, too, are optimal. A zone that completely removes heat generated by the body, in which the thermoregulation system does not exert a voltage, is a comfort zone.

There are three ways in which thermoregulation of an organism is carried out:

  1. Biochemical method.
  2. Change in the intensity of the circulation.
  3. Intensity of perspiration.

At the first method, biochemical, the intensity of the processes occurring in the body changes. For example, when the temperature of the environment decreases, there is a muscle tremor that increases the release of heat. Such a thermoregulation of the human body is called chemical.

In the second method, the body regulates blood supply, which, in this case, is considered to be a heat carrier. It transports heat from internal organs to the surface of the body. In this case, the necessary narrowing or expansion of the vessels occurs. At a high temperature around - the vessels expand, the flow of blood from the internal organs increases, at a low temperature the reverse process occurs. Vessels narrow, blood flow decreases, and less heat comes out.

When the air temperature decreases, the heat transfer, sweating, and moisture of the skin surface decrease, therefore, due to the reduction in evaporation, the heat transfer of the organism decreases. Large losses of moisture can be dangerous to humans.

In the second and third cases, the physical thermoregulation of the human body takes place.

The microclimate significantly affects the human condition, its performance. The comfort of living conditions and activities is influenced by the gas composition of the air, the optimum weather conditions. Microclimate parameters provide heat exchange of the organism with the environment. This is the thermoregulation of man.

Under natural conditions, these parameters fluctuate significantly. When they change, it becomes not the same as before and the person's health. For example, the tolerance of ambient air depends not only on temperature, but also on humidity, air speed. It is proved that at an ambient temperature exceeding 25 degrees, working capacity is reduced. And the more air humidity, the faster the body overheats, because less sweat evaporates. Isolation of it exhausts the body. At the same time, he loses a lot of vitamins, minerals, minerals.

With prolonged exposure to high temperature in combination with high humidity, body temperature can rise to 39 degrees. This condition is called hyperthermia. It can be life threatening.

Lowered air temperatures are also dangerous. They are no less dangerous than high ones. There is cooling and hypothermia, called hypothermia. And, as a result - cold trauma.

Thermoregulation of the human body occurs in all ways at once. But periodically some of them are less involved, and some much more.
