The mechanism that went down in history is the first car in the world

In our time, a car is an affordable means of transportation. There were days when the car was a luxury. However, technological progress "put on the conveyor" different brands of cars. Now a person can buy any four-wheeled vehicle at any time. But it was not always so. Until the end of the 19th century, people moved with the help of horses. It was the only way to overcome a great distance. Of course, by the standards of modern times, horses can not compete with cars of the 21st century. However, in the old days a good horse was worth a lot of money.

Mankind has always striven for the perfection of all branches. In the 1880s, excessive activity on the part of many mechanics with world names was noticed. This was due to the invention of an internal combustion engine. The opening belonged to Augustine Otto. Since 1876, all the minds of this sphere have thought how to improve the invention. And on January 26, 1886 Karl Benz went down in history as the man who created the first car in the world with a gasoline engine. Now the Austrians argue that the invention belongs to them. However, this is no more than an unjustified theory.

Who knows, perhaps Karl Benz would remain among the many unknown mechanics of the time, whose names are known only to archivists. In fact, the case was different. Many historians believe that it was only thanks to his wife, the famous inventor, that he managed to prove to the whole world the usefulness of the developed mechanism. His wife Berta Ringent was an energetic girl who held an active point of view. In those days, all new things did not cause delight, but immediately came across conservative attitudes. Such a fate befell the first car in the world. In 1885, Benz showed his creation to the citizens of Mannheim. As a result, from the noise of the motor, the butcher's horse spoiled all the goods. The inventor had to compensate for the loss. As they say, "the first pancake is lumpy." However, Karl did not give up and after a year improved the car.

At the time, the invention of the car did not cause much admiration from the citizens. True success was realized by the mechanic, when his wife and two sons made a 180-kilometer trip to their relatives. At that time it was an extreme undertaking. Gasoline was sold only in kerosene shops, it was necessary to constantly monitor the serviceability of wooden brakes. Yet the difficulties paid off with interest. After this trip, the three-wheeled first car in the world, running on gasoline, was recognized by the masses. People crowded together to look at the miracle-cart without a single horse. After some time, the inventor in 1893 was able to implement a four-wheeled project. The device had at that time a unique pivot system for turning the wheels. That is, they spun about their own axis one by one. The unit was represented by a three-liter engine with a total horsepower of three horsepower. With this creation, Benz was most proud. Model "Velo" is considered the first car, which was put on a batch production (about 381 units). Russia saw the novelty in 1894.

There is much debate around the name of the designer who assembled the first car in the world. The Austrians convince that their compatriot Siegfried Marcus created a transport vehicle in the period from 1875 to 1889. A certain Daimler, a compatriot of Benz, a year later (in 1887) invented a car that received practical application. A lot of historians still uphold different opinions on this matter. However, the question: "who invented the car first", there is only one answer - Karl Benz. It was this man who gave life to the world's first car with a gasoline engine.

Whatever it was, the history of the automobile industry is an interesting science, which is full of entertaining facts and indestructible fundamental fundamentals.
