A little bit about heroes and a fairy tale

Very instructive is the "Tale of Sinbad the Sailor". The main characters - merchants and sailors - are fearless, they are not afraid of difficulties and disasters. Not everyone is attracted by the desire to make wealth. The very "Tale of Sinbad the Sailor", a brief summary of which we will try to present, includes seven stories. All these adventures the hero had to endure for 27 years.

Adventures on a huge fish

Sinbad bought the goods and boarded the ship. All reached the island, on which grew trees with fruits, made braziers and began to prepare food. Sinbad at that time was walking. Suddenly the captain of the ship shouted that it was not an island, but a big fish. She will now sink into the sea. But the hero did not have time to ship and began to sink. However, he swam to the deserted island. On the shore, he saw a beautiful horse, who loudly whinnied, and then a man appeared from under the ground. He explained to Sinbad that his host was owned by his master al-Mihrdjan, and he himself was just a groom. Such continuation is "The Tale of Sinbad the Sailor". The summary can not cover all the events, so, we will not retell the story of the rich life of the traveler on the island of the king. He became head of the sea harbor and asked everyone about Baghdad. Only one of the many captains knew Baghdad and the missing Sinbad. Having received rich gifts for the faithful service from the king of the island, the traveler sat on the ship and returned to his homeland. He resumed a life full of pleasures, but was bored and wanted to go on a long journey.

Bird of Rukh and diamonds

Having bought the goods and loaded them on the ship, the sailors again set out and sailed to the island. The will of Sinbad's fate was forgotten on him. He saw a huge white dome. Suddenly the sun began to cover the shadow. Here flew a huge bird Rukhh. The fairy tale about the travels of Sinbad the Sailor continues. When the bird sat on the egg and fell asleep, the brave Sinbad tied himself to her paws, and she carried him to the valley of the huge snakes that she ate. On the valley, consisting of diamonds, our wanderer wandered, collecting precious stones. There cunning people threw pieces of meat. Diamonds clung to them, and, picking them up, they extracted jewelry. To one piece of meat, our pilgrim tied himself to a greater extent. He was taken out of the valley of snakes. He thanked the people who had saved him, and they helped him return to Baghdad. After a quiet life, he again wanted to see the wonders of the world.

Island of cannibals and dragons

A new "Tale of Sinbad the Sailor" continues. The summary conveys the very essence of the story. The ship, on which the curious Sinbad was sailing, lost his course and came to the island. Merchants and sailors on the shore came across a huge cave in which bones were gnawed everywhere. As they stood, a giant creature appeared, resembling a human being. Without thinking twice, it chose the thickest member of the team, planted on a spit, roasted and ate. And then went to bed. Then Sinbad offered to make a raft, blind the cannibal, burning two iron spits on the fire, and run away. The raft brought them to the other island at night, where a huge dragon lived. He immediately swallowed all the satellites of Sinbad and left. In the morning the seafarer saw a ship that picked up the unhappy man. There he was dressed and fed. It turned out that the ship had the property of Sinbad himself.

Sinbad in the Land of the Madmen

Again, tired of pleasure and peace, the tireless traveler set out on his journey. And again he was shipwrecked. He and his companions came to the people who fed the pilgrims with food, from which they lost their mind. Only Sinbad did not eat anything and saw that all his friends are now insane. Our hero lonely wandered and met a shepherd who showed him the way to another city. So the fourth fairy tale about Sinbad the Sailor goes on. The summary will tell about the adventures and marriage of the traveler. In this city, Sinbad was taken to the king who graciously placed him in his palace. The king offered him a beautiful wife. Our traveler got married. But he learned the terrible custom of this country. When one of the spouses dies, the living is buried with the dead. Sinbad's wife suddenly fell ill and died. They were buried together, lowered into a deep well. Sinbad and then wriggled out. He examined the proper cave and found a hole. Collecting all the jewels of the dead, he climbed through the hole and saw the ship. The captain picked him up and brought him home. Again, our hero has begun to live in contentment. But soon again he was going to the next trip.

Another wonderful salvation

As usual, Sinbad had a ship crashed, and he was on the island. On it, he met an innocuous silent old man who, with signs, asked him to take him to the water. A good traveler put the old man on his neck and fell into slavery. With iron woolly legs, the evil Shaitan grabbed Sinbad's neck and beat him and chased it all day. The merchant managed to get rid of the old man and destroy him by cunning. At that time, along the shore, a ship was passing, which picked up the unfortunate sailor. The ship brought the merchant to a large city, and then went on a journey without it. In Sindbad, they learned how to collect valuable Indian nuts. The merchant sold them, bought local goods, boarded the ship and went home. With wealth, the sailor returned to Baghdad. Arab fairy tale will give us two more trips.

On the island of Ceylon

The ship on which Sinbad was sailing lost its course and crashed against the high cliffs of the island. Almost all the heroes of the fairy tale about Sinbad the Sailor Drowned with the ship, and the remaining, together with our brave hero, climbed ashore. But from the famine the merchant's companions perished, and he was left alone. The valley, where he was, was filled with precious stones and a valuable ambergris. Collecting all that he could, the traveler made himself a raft and descended the river. The wanderer swam out into the valley, where the local natives lived. Sinbad told his story. Aborigines helped the merchant find a ship that was heading for Baghdad. So Sinbad returned to his homeland and healed richer than before.

The last trip

And again, the thirst for adventure drew a tireless explorer into the distant lands. The ship was carried by the wind to the rocks, and it crashed. One Sindbad survived. He climbed ashore and set off on a sandalwood boat. When the traveler reached the land, he met people there, and they brought him to the sheikh. There he was fondled, and the sheikh married him to his daughter. Then the sheikh died, and Sindbad reigned the city. At the beginning of each month, the men flew off somewhere. An inquisitive traveler asked one of them to take him with him. So they flew through the air, and marveled at all Sinbad. But he was thrown down. In the valley came Messengers of Allah with golden staffs and gave the sufferer a golden cane, and then disappeared. Then Sinbad saw that a huge snake half swallowed a man, and he calls for help. With a golden cane, the merchant killed the snake and saved the unfortunate one. There appeared flying people and agreed to return Sinbad home. "The Tale of the Travels of Sinbad the Sailor" is coming to an end. His wife told him that they serve the Shaitan. Then the merchant built a ship, took his wife and returned to Baghdad.

The main idea of the fairy tale about Sinbad the Sailor is that human life is fragile and must struggle for it, as did the ingenious and clever protagonist in all unimaginable situations.
