Sweet Pie From the Pumpkin Test

They gave me a big pumpkin ... We cooked some porridge from it several times, and more than half of the pumpkin remained, we cleaned it into pieces and froze it in the fridge.

I decided to cook something from her, except porridge, and found a recipe for making a pumpkin dough, but during cooking I changed it a little and now it looks like this:

Let's take fresh yeast - 25 g; Vegetable oil - 1/3 cup; Egg - 1 piece; Pulp pulp - 250-300 g; Sugar - 3 tbsp. Spoons; Water - 100 - 125 ml; Flour - 650-700 g; a pinch of salt.

Method of dough preparation

Pumpkin cook, put in the saucepan thawed pieces of pumpkin, pour them cold water, the water should completely cover the pieces of pumpkin and a half centimeter above the pieces, bring to a boil and cook for 10 - 15 minutes. Half the water is drained and the pumpkin is beaten in a blender until the mashed potatoes can be cooked and using crush.

Yeast is grinded into small pieces with the pumpkin puree, add sugar, egg, a pinch of salt, vegetable oil, cover the container with a towel and leave for 20 minutes, so that the odor will rise.

After that we sift the flour, add it to the spoon and knead the dough, then cover with a towel again and wait for the dough to rise a couple of times, each time kneading it.

From the received test it is possible to prepare rolls, pies with a stuffing or pies.

My son and I like sweet pies, but open pies do not turn out to be juicy, so I'm making closed pies out of this dough.

Cooking pie

For the filling, I take jam and fresh apples, most of all we like pies with jam from strawberries, but the rest of the jam is also very tasty and juicy pies.

We take part of the dough, roll it 0.5 cm thick and put it into a silicone mold, or on a metal sheet on which we first put the foil, and then the dough layer.

We put jam on the dough if it looks like marmalade, that is, it is bought with a piece, cut into thin plates and laid on the dough, if the jam is thin, then distribute it with a spoon or spatula, after which the apples are cut in circles, removing the seeds, and stack them Over the jam.

After that I sprinkle stuffing with sugar and cinnamon, roll out the second cake and close the cake from above, if I bake it in silicone.

If the pie is baked on the wind-sheet, then I fill the filling only on the central part, then to bend the edges from two sides to the center and close the filling, snapping around the edges so that the filling does not flow out of the cake during the baking process.

I bake a cake at a temperature of 150 degrees 15 - 20 minutes, until a crispy crust. Then I take it out of the oven, grease it with hard-boiled tea and leave it to cool slightly.

Then spread the cake on a grass or wooden stand for hot dishes. Since these supports have holes, the pie does not dampen, but remains dry and from the bottom.

In the process of eating, you need to have a saucer or a dessert dish, since the pie turns out to be very juicy and from it, especially when you eat warm, the filling may flow.
