Pinocchio or Pinocchio?

The book is based on A.N. Tolstoy lies a fairy tale by Carlo Collodi "The Adventures of Pinocchio: The Story of a Wooden Doll". According to the plot of Collodi, the favorite American cartoon is taken, and children often confuse these two works and the main characters - Pinocchio and Pinocchio. But A.N. Tolstoy took only an idea with an animated wooden doll, and then the storylines diverge. The summary of "Buratino" for the readers' diary contains information only from the Russian version.

The appearance of Pinocchio by Pope Carlo, the advice of the speaking cricket

One day, the carpenter Giuseppe found a talking log, which began to scream when he was slouching. Giuseppe was frightened and gave it to the organ-grinder Carlo, with whom he had long been friends. Carlo lived in a small room so poorly that even the hearth was not real, but painted on a piece of old canvas. The organ-grinder cut a wooden doll with a very long nose out of a log. She came to life and became the boy whom Carlo called Pinocchio. The wooden man was mischievous, and the talking cricket advised him to take up his mind, obey Papa Carlo, go to school. Papa Carlo, despite the pranks and leprosy, fell in love with Pinocchio and decided to bring up as a native. He sold his warm jacket to buy his little boy an alphabet, made a jacket and a cap with a brush from color paper, so that he could go to school.

Puppet theater and acquaintance with Karabas Barabas

Buratino on the way to school saw the poster of the Puppet Theater: "Girl with blue hair, or Thirty-three cuffs." The boy forgot the advice of the talking cricket and decided not to go to school. He sold his beautiful new alphabet with pictures and bought all tickets for the show. The plot was based on the backs, which Harlequin very often gave Pierrot. During the performance, the puppet-artists recognized Buratino and the commotion started, as a result of which the view was thwarted. The terrible and cruel Karabas Barabas, the director of the theater, the author and director of the plays, the master of all the dolls playing on the stage, was very angry. He even wanted to burn the wooden boy for breaking the order and disrupting the performance. But during the conversation Pinocchio accidentally told about the closet under the stairs with the painted hearth in which Pope Carlo lived. Suddenly Karabas Barabas calmed down and even gave Buratino five gold coins with one condition - not to leave this room.

Meeting with fox Alice and cat Basilio

On the way home, Pinocchio met the fox Alice and cat Basilio. These crooks, learning about coins, offered the boy to go to the Land of Fools. They told that if they dig in coins on the Field of Wonders in the evening, then in the morning a huge money tree will grow from them.

Buratino really wanted to get rich quickly, and he agreed to go with them. On the way, Pinocchio was lost and left alone, but at night in the forest he was attacked by terrible robbers, reminiscent of a cat and a fox. He hid the coins in his mouth so that they would not be taken away, and the robbers hanged the boy upside down on the tree branch so that he dropped the coins and left him.

Acquaintance with Malvina, a trip to the Land of Fools

In the morning he found Artemon, a poodle girl with blue hair - Malvina, who escaped from the theater Karabas Barabas. It turned out that he was cruel to his puppet actors. When Malvina, a girl with very good manners, met Buratino, she decided to raise him, which resulted in punishment - Artemon locked him in a dark terrible closet with spiders.

Escaping from the closet, the boy again met the cat Basilio and the fox Alice. He did not recognize the "robbers" who attacked him in the forest, and again he believed them. Together they set out on their journey. When the crooks led Buratino to the Land of Fools on the Field of Miracles, it turned out to be like a dump. But the cat and the fox convinced him to bury the money, and then set on him the police dogs who chased Buratino, caught and thrown into the water.

The appearance of the golden key

A boy made of logs did not drown. It was found by the old Turtle tortoise. She told the naive Buratino the truth about his "friends" Alice and Basilio. The tortoise kept a golden key, which long ago dropped into the water an evil man with a long, terrible beard. He shouted that the key could open the door to happiness and wealth. Tortila gave the key to Pinocchio. On the way from the Country of Fools, Pinocchio met the frightened Pierrot, who also escaped from the cruel Karabas. Buratino and Malvina were very glad to see Pierrot. Leaving friends in the house of Malvina, Pinocchio went to watch over Karabas Barabas. He had to find out which door to open with a golden key. Occasionally in the inn, Pinocchio heard a conversation between Karabas Barabas and Duremar, a merchant of leeches. He recognized the great secret of the golden key: the door he opens is in the chamber of Pope Carlo behind the painted hearth.

A door in the closet, a journey through the stairs and a new theater

Karabas Barabas appealed to police dogs with a complaint about Pinocchio. He accused the boy of the fact that puppet-artists escaped because of him, which led to the ruin of the theater. Fleeing from the persecution, Pinocchio and his friends came into the closet to Pope Carlo. They tore the canvas off the wall, found the door, opened it with a golden key and found an old staircase that led to the unknown. They went down the stairs, slamming the door in front of Karabas Barasse's nose and police dogs. There, Pinocchio again met the speaking cricket and apologized to him. The staircase leads to the best in the world theater, with bright light, loud and joyful music. In this theater, the characters became masters, Pinocchio began playing with friends on stage, and Carlo's dad - selling tickets and playing a hurdy-gurdy. All the artists from the theater Karabas Barabas left him for a new theater, where good performances were staged on the stage, and no one beat anyone. Karabas Barabas was left alone on the street, in a huge puddle.
