The InternetSearch Engine Optimization

Search engines: Methods of Optimizing Web Resources

A well-designed web resource, being on the Web, should bring its owners or creators some dividends - in the form of growth in sales volumes of the company's products or services or advertising revenues. However, before the site becomes self-sufficient and begins to generate revenue, it is necessary that it becomes known to search engines and, consequently, to users who can become clients of the company. To do this, you need to conduct a whole range of works on search optimization of the resource.

Optimization is internal and external. Optimization methods can be very different, but all of them are somehow aimed at improving the rating of a resource in search sites. All internal optimization methods are reduced to the correct and logical use of keywords on the site specially tailored for specific search queries and properly designed. The text materials of the site also need to be properly documented. It is highly desirable to write an announcement, snippet and other meta tags. All these "additions" to the texts should contain keywords.

In addition to keywords embedded in the texts on the site, good results can be provided by linking pages to the site. This means that certain pages of the site contain links to other pages. This favorably affects the buildup of reference mass and makes the site more visible to search engines.

The task of external optimization is to get as many incoming links to the promoted site from other resources as possible, preferably close subjects. The more incoming links, the greater the weight of the site, the higher the quality of referring resources, the better for the promoted site, for its authority in the "eyes" of search engines.

Optimization methods in the most general form can be divided into black and white. Black optimization methods are called so because they are built on the deception of search engines, expressed in the buildup of the reference mass by prohibited means. Such funds include, in particular, the so-called doorways, which are single-page sites created for only one purpose - placing links leading to the promoted resource. Doorways often contain absolutely meaningless or pseudo-sensible texts, often consisting only of key words. Such sites do not carry useful information, therefore, are not of interest to visitors. Search engines do not approve the use of black methods, and sites promoted in this way are often excluded from the index.

White methods are all ways of promotion, which are approved by the search engines and the Internet community as a whole. Website promotion only white methods requires a considerable amount of time, but the result is very persistent. Incoming links can be obtained by registering in several catalogs and rankings, posting links to free message boards and forums. Recently, in order to increase the reference mass, comments in dofollow blogs are used, as the most promising ones, and placing the site in social bookmarking. These methods are very effective and bear fruit.

With the optimization of sites for search engines, advertising on the Internet is also closely connected. Its peculiarity is that it is not limited to any legislative acts or regulations, like advertising in traditional media.

Therefore, cases of abuse and obsession are not uncommon. If traditional advertising is used as a "commerce engine", Internet advertising features are fundamentally different from those placed on the streets of the boards, stretch marks, pillars and plasma panels. Unfair advertising on websites can lead to such resources, which can bring huge damage to the user's computer or its confidential data.

But you should not scold all internet advertising. As elsewhere, there are promotional materials and certainly useful and carrying the right information. But if a regular visitor of Internet resources has a desire to never see an advertisement, which often happens, then for such a person there is protection from advertising on the Internet, which is nothing more than programs blocking pop-up advertising windows or downloading banners and teasers, so annoyingly Acting on many users. Protection from advertising on the Internet can be used even if the Internet user is a child.

Owners of Internet resources can make good money on their site, placing on it advertising banners or links. This is also the benefit of advertising - if only it is not to the detriment of the community. But in any case, the income from the placement of promotional materials can be obtained only if the site is properly optimized for search engines.
