There are many recipes for salads and cold snacks. Almost every housewife in the arsenal has several "own" ways of cooking a particular dish. And the salad "Tosca" (with emphasis on any syllable, to taste) is a wand-help for many women, and even for men, especially single women.

  • Smoked chicken breast with spices;
  • Gherkins (5-7 pieces);
  • Greens finely chopped (parsley, dill, basil);
  • Chinese cabbage or salad;
  • Cherry tomatoes (8-10 pieces);
  • Onions pickled (2 medium bulbs);
  • Cheese of solid sorts (better "Marble");
  • Fresh champignons (5-6 pieces);
  • Olives (half a can);
  • mayonnaise.

Preparation

If the pickled onion is not at hand, then the usual bulb is also suitable. You can prepare it yourself. It will take vinegar (preferably apple) and salt. Onion cut into half-rings, put into a deepened container. Then sprinkle abundantly with salt, then pour apple cider vinegar so that it is completely drowned. Olives should be taken without seeds. They need to be cut into rings that are as thin as possible. Cheese is recommended to grate on a fine grater, so it will be more juicy. Gherkins also cut into rings, which are then divided into halves. You can just break the breast with your hands. Salad or Chinese cabbage shred. Champignons fry in a hot frying pan until cooked, then cool. Cherry tomatoes are cut into halves. It's better if they are not too ripe and soft, otherwise they will give abundant juice.

Laying layers

By the way, many in the variant with chicken often add crushed garlic, which gives a special flavor and aroma to the salad. Therefore, the place remains for experiments. In the version with seafood, you can add not only mussels, but also rings of squid, mollusks or crab sticks in general. But hard cheese can not be replaced. But you can choose which kind of variety you'll like more. If it is too salty, then it is worth reducing the amount of marinade or spices. It is noteworthy that you can serve a dish as an autonomous dish, and not for some specific hot or garnish. If you choose the latter, it is better to pay attention to boiled rice or potatoes.
