Rights of the child in kindergarten. The rights of the child by examples

Have you ever thought about what society should give to a child? Let's give examples of those guarantees that any preschool child who visits a kindergarten have. From birth to adulthood, children have their own individual "privileges". All the rights of the child (they should be briefly known by any father and mother) are set forth in the UN Convention.

It is the parents' responsibility to strictly monitor that no one disturbs them during their visit to the kindergarten. If you analyze the reality, in practice, the rights of the child in the kindergarten are violated, but none of the offenders receives a well-deserved punishment, because children do not always complain to parents about their caregivers.

What is the Convention?

This document was adopted by the UN, and it is far from the only normative act, which touches on the theme "Rights of the Child". The countries of Europe are paying significant attention to the problem of protecting preschool children, understanding that at this age they are unable to stand up for themselves. In any civilized state, there are their own normative documents that list the rights of the child (in the kindergarten, in particular).

What documents regulate the guarantees in the Russian Federation?

In our country there is the Family Code, in addition, the Law "On Basic Guarantees of the Rights of the Child in the Russian Federation" is functioning. These documents are fundamental for social workers who monitor the well-being of families. The rights of the child in the PRE are protected by the Law on Education. There are administrative documents, instructions, in which they are also registered. Such normative acts prescribe all the rights of the child in the pre-school, parents should carefully read them and, if necessary, protect their children, based on these laws.

Going to the kindergarten

The Russian reality is that a record in a kindergarten often begins immediately after the birth of the baby, but the child can get into the institution only after reaching the age of three. The reason was the increase in the birth rate, as well as the closure during the destruction of the USSR, many DOW. To solve the problem of lack of places, new gardens are being built these days, but it is not yet fully eliminated.

To protect the basic right of the child in the kindergarten, namely the ability of the child to attend this institution, it was legislatively established that the authorities are obliged to provide children with a vacant place for obtaining preschool education. As soon as your baby has come up with a turn to be identified with a dislocation, different problems appear in the family. First of all, this is due to the fact that the child is waiting for a new stage of his life, he has anxious feelings, because it is unclear what exactly will happen in a new place where next to him there will be neither father nor mother. The feelings of parents who expect the child to enter the kindergarten are much brighter. They feel anxiety, sadness, some fear, excitement for their future "disciple".

One of the serious issues that should not fall out of the eyes of the parents is the rights of the child in the kindergarten. Not all modern moms and dads have a complete picture of them. Although ignorance sometimes gives rise to very serious problems with the psyche, which is very difficult to correct even after a few years. The content of the rights of the child is a problem that not every father or mother thinks about, whereas educators can take full advantage of it.

Examples of documents - "defenders"

The basic rights of the child, examples of which any caring parents should know, are based on the Convention, the Family Code, the Law "On Basic Guarantees of the Rights of the Child in the Russian Federation". Of course, violations of any of these regulations lead to administrative and criminal liability.

What is guaranteed for preschoolers?

We list the basic rights of the child in the kindergarten for parents so that they can protect their children (if necessary). So, this is the right of the child:

  1. To receive education, as well as the formation and development of creative and physical abilities. Any preschool institution is obliged to conduct additional training for children. In addition to walking in the fresh air, games, the baby should be promoted in the direction of mental development. To realize the goal, educators working in kindergartens help the kids to improve, gradually complicating the tasks (at first glance they seem quite simple for adults). In the absence of developmental lessons, there is reason to assert that the guarantee is violated. In our country there is a large-scale network of pre-school educational institutions working around the clock or during the day. Educational programs for preschool children are updated, special federal state standards regulating development of children in kindergartens are introduced.
  2. On the game. Based on the development of the intellectual and creative abilities of the baby, it must also be remembered that the game is important to the child. It is in it that he gets communication skills, so the educators should pay special attention to a variety that will not bother the children.
  3. On health and life. Perhaps, these are the basic rights of the child in the kindergarten (for parents, these rights are the most important), because if they are not respected, the life of the baby can be seriously threatened. The Law "On Education" states that a pre-school educational institution is obliged to guarantee life and health to its pupils. If necessary, the baby should receive medical care, so those children's institutions that do not have a medical office violate the guarantee of medical care, and therefore must be closed.
  4. To protect against abuse. Educators often can cry, and even worse - beat children. This is absolutely unacceptable and should be stopped both by the parents and by the garden administration.
  5. To protect the needs and interests of the child. Children should be given due attention, toys and basic hygiene products - meet all standards.
  6. On quality food. The baby's body needs a sufficient, high-quality, high-grade flow of food throughout the day. If children are given food that has expired, the child's rights are violated, and parents can file a complaint with the prosecutor's office.

What is child abuse?

The definition of "ill-treatment" involves beatings, sexual, emotional or physical violence (eg, screaming, insults, humiliation). In kindergartens, violations of this plan occur quite often, and educators consider it normal to scream at children, call them ugly words, to hang a slap in the face. If you learned that the rights of the child are violated (examples of such situations are often found), that is, the child was subjected to some kind of violence, transfer it to another preschool institution.

Can parents protect children in preschool?

It is parents who can and should ensure that the rights of their children in pre-school educational institutions are not violated. When choosing a kindergarten, moms and dads are required to check the level of qualifications of the caregivers to whom they lead their children. If the baby after a first visit to the kindergarten home is capricious, refuses to sleep, cries for no reason, then the feeling of discomfort is obvious. Parents should closely monitor the baby, if after 3-4 days his behavior does not change, nervousness increases, talk with the caregivers. If after the conversation nothing changes, and the baby refuses to go to the kindergarten, look for him another preschool institution.

What should parents ask about?

Do not forget to be interested in the rules of the rules adopted in the DM, ask about the activities that educators conduct for the development of the creative abilities and intelligence of preschoolers. A kindergarten that values its reputation always cooperates with parents and even invites them to open classes so that they can see how the child develops, know what skills are formed during creative tasks.

How do parents behave if violations are detected?

First you need to write to the head of the kindergarten in writing, ask him to stop illegal actions on the part of employees. If there are no positive results, please file a complaint with the prosecutor's office. This institution will conduct an official investigation, with the results of which will familiarize the parents who believe that the rights of their baby have been violated by the employees of the pre-school institution.

The main task is to remember that a child at 2-3 years of age will not be able to stand up for himself. Of course, today a lot of children at this age already know how to turn on the TV to watch cartoons or "rummage" in my dad's mobile phone. However, this does not mean that they will be able to repulse an impolite teacher who is trying to shout or strike. Try to ask the child more often about the events in the garden. Very often he remembers the brightest pleasant and unpleasant moments, so somehow tell you about them can. After this, do not postpone active actions for later, so that the child does not get a mental trauma.
