Should I rest in Resort Mello Rosa 2 * (and now it is already three-star) or is it better to find another place for a holiday?

Location of the hotel

The hotel is located in a quiet and cozy village of Arpora, 15 km from the state capital, Panaji. Distance to Dabolim International Airport is 40 km. A distinctive feature of the hotel is that it is surrounded by a large enough greenery area, allowing you to hide from everyone and relax from the noise and endless hassles in a calm atmosphere. Approximately 2 km from the hotel guests will find Baga beach, and a little closer - Calangute and Anjuna. Enjoy the beauty of a more prestigious Candolim can be, if you cover the distance of 6 km. But on this beach to relax pleasantly.

Description of the hotel and infrastructure

Previously, the hotel was called Hafh Resort Mello Rosa 2 *, now it is awarded 3 stars. This is an unremarkable building, surrounded by luscious green vegetation, the view of which is pleasant to enjoy, lying on a deckchair by the pool. The interior design of the premises, like the exterior, does not have any features - calm and relaxing.

On the territory there is a bar and a restaurant. Both establishments do not shine with delights and some unique culinary creations. The restaurant offers Indian, Chinese, Continental and Provincial cuisines. The bar serves alcoholic drinks and cocktails that do not contain alcohol.

Number of rooms

The Resort Mello Rosa Hotel has 3 * 84 rooms of three categories:

• Standard.
• Deluxe.
• Family.

Each of them has everything a tourist can need:

• Own bathroom with shower, washbasin and constant hot water, towels and cosmetic accessories;
• Ceiling fan or air conditioning;
• TV;
• Beds;

• wardrobe.

Each room at the Hafh Resort Mello Rosa has a private balcony that reveals a swimming pool or garden, and some have a kitchenette with a fridge. In the rooms of this hotel everything is quite simple, we can say, at home - warm and cozy.

For an additional fee, a baby cot will be placed in the room. If the child is younger than 4 years old and does not need an extra bed, the accommodation is free of charge. Older children are considered as adults. For their stay at the hotel will have to pay depending on the chosen room category.

The hotel is designed for a quiet pastime, there are no large playgrounds and the possibility to rent various sports equipment. Guests are invited to play billiards, table tennis and visit the fitness room, swim in the pool and just relax on the sunbed - that's all the entertainment in the hotel. For children there is a playground.

In India, all beaches are public. In this regard, tourists can visit any of them for free. On the nearby beaches, vacationers are offered to rent sun loungers and umbrellas for recreation. North Goa does not stand out for its cleanliness, unlike the Southern one, but because of the constant excitement of the sea, water activities such as diving are excluded. But if you really want to dive into the water, you can visit the center of Goa Aquatics.

At Resort Mello Rosa, you can book a tour of the state to visit the most famous landmarks of Goa. In addition, near the hotel there are shops, shopping centers, restaurants and other places where you can spend your time, buy gifts for yourself and relatives or buy food to cook dinner in your room (if it is equipped with a kitchenette). Speaking about nutrition, it is worth noting that the paid accommodation includes only breakfast.

But many people who rest there feel that it's better to pay a little more and rest in another hotel, because to live in Resort Mello Rosa 3 * is one torment.

The average score for tourists' reviews is 3.6 / 10. Many vacationers complain about the hotel and write that it has a terrible location, because it is far from the beach, terrible rooms and dishonest staff who constantly need to be reminded that it's time to take out the garbage, clean the room, change bed linen and towels. Other tourists note that the hotel is of the same quality as the price, and if you want to spend time chic, then you will have to pay a little more. As usual, the opinions of vacationers diverge. But the overwhelming majority of the guests remained displeased with the hotel and the staff working in it, emphasizing that not only the rest was spoiled, but the general impression of Goa.
