3. After solidifying the silicone, apply a layer of gypsum, consisting of two halves or more parts (depending on the complexity of the form).
4. When the gypsum finally hardens (it is better to wait at least a few hours), separate the parts of the gypsum casing and remove it from the silicone preform;
5. Open or cut (if made for a single whole) silicone shell and remove the original figure.
6. Collect everything again. Do not forget to set the wick and additionally lubricate the mold for pouring from the inside. This is especially important if the configuration of the product is complex.

Manufacturing technology

If you do not have the time or the desire to create your forms in such a complicated way, it is enough to take existing capacities or, for example, to roll out cone-shaped paper. 1. Prepare the form: fold the cone, take a plastic cup (or a juice box).
2. The wick from the cone will exit the candle from the narrow side, a cylindrical shape or other similar can be poured so that the wick is located either from below or from above with respect to the place of pouring. When solidified, the paraffin undergoes shrinkage, so a groove will form in the place of pouring. To ensure that there is no such groove around the wick on the top of the candle, it is necessary either to add paraffin during the solidification process, or to install the wick so that the bottom of the candle is in this place.
3. Given the advice from the previous paragraph, set the wick so that its free edge, which will subsequently be ignited, comes out from below the mold. A creative idea is to use several if the candle size allows. Pass the wick through the opening and tie a knot to prevent the paraffin from flowing out. You can add a little clay. The filling will be better carried out in small portions, so that the lower layer has time to harden a little, rather than flowing out under the pressure of the entire volume of the composition.
4. Fasten the wick using the sticks installed on the top of the mold.
5. Set the shape on a flat surface. For a cone, use a diameter container slightly less than the base or center, depending on the height. For the box, you can use a stand with a hole in the center, so as not to interfere with the wick made from the wick /
6. Melt paraffin in a water bath, adding, if necessary, shavings of colored chalk or color, stirring everything with a stick.
7. Pour into the mold.
8. Wait for the complete curing (the time depends on the size of the candle). Better wait a day.
9. Remove the product from the mold.

Product decoration options

Even from single-color products of simple geometric form, you can get a spectacular New Year composition with candles with your own hands, but you can decorate each candle individually.

The methods are similar to those used for purchased candles. If you want to decorate the surface with beads, coffee beans, placing them chaotically or in the form of a pattern or inscription, it is enough to heat them in hot water and lean against the surface of the candle. The paraffin will start to melt, and the beads will partially go inside.

Decoupage

If you want to decorate the surface with a thematic picture, cut out the image of the corresponding candle of the size from the decoupage map. Wrap the surface, and then direct a jet of warm air from the dryer to the side of the candle. A thin napkin will be pasted into the paraffin.
