Moscow volunteers will enrich their knowledge.

The idea of creating a social project "Card of good deeds" belongs to the Department of Family and Youth Policy of Moscow. The program, consisting of several interrelated activities, is at the implementation stage, its main objective is information support of the Moscow voluntary movement.

Times when a volunteer was considered to be a person who entered his military service voluntarily, have long since passed. Today, a volunteer is an individual who has expressed a desire to help people without demanding any material benefits in return. Work with pensioners and children, improvement and gardening, prospecting works ... The front of the works of a modern volunteer is extensive. Is it worth mentioning that in the context of Russian reality, the activity of volunteers acquires special significance - both for the volunteers themselves and for those to whom they help.

The Department of Family and Youth Policy of Moscow decided to take on a responsible task - to develop and implement a whole package of activities - "Card of Good Deeds", aimed at consolidating representatives of Moscow volunteers.

The project was opened by the Volunteer Council, in which representatives of city volunteer organizations, experienced psychologists, representatives of government bodies, as well as those who just want to become part of the volunteer movement, took part.

The lecture course "Lessons of Goodness" helps novice volunteers to fill the gaps in knowledge related to volunteerism. However, studies are not limited to theory - experienced teachers give volunteers a lot of practical recommendations.

Already experienced young volunteers comprehend the wisdom of organizing their own project, skilful interaction with authorities, effective communication in the team.

In the process of studying, there is a mutual exchange of information between the parties: the guys participate in sociological surveys in various areas of volunteering: providing assistance to orphans, the elderly, the sick, disabled, environmental and sports volunteers.

Participation in the "Marathon of Volunteers" campaign will help the guys to consolidate their skills and knowledge. During the event, work will be carried out with the elderly, tasks will be implemented to improve the city, trips to orphanages will be held. The action should coincide with the celebration of World Volunteer Day, which takes place every year on December 5. Participants of the "Marathon of Volunteers" will be able to take part in the contest for creating the best logo for the action.

The event will be completed by another contest - "Card of Good Deeds". Evaluation of qualified specialists will receive projects implemented by volunteer organizations over the past five years.

The "Card of Good Deeds" project is implemented with the support of a call-center specially created to advise program participants.
