Therefore, it is best to free them from contamination with any solvents or alkaline agents. The first method - cleaning with sand, shot, sandpaper - can only be applied to products made of ordinary metal. The surface will become slightly rough, which will increase its adhesive properties. The metal paints on the products treated in this way are much stronger.

In addition to chemical and mechanical means, a thermal method is often used to prepare the surface of products. At the same time, a tool such as a construction hair dryer is used. After warming up the old paint coating, it can easily be removed with a conventional spatula. Purified metal surfaces are primed. Primers for metal are made on the basis of drying oil. They form strong films on the surface, which in addition to increasing the adhesive properties additionally protect the product from corrosion.

In general, the tool is unusually useful and in demand - paint for metal. The price for it is slightly higher than for the universal one. However, its application can even in this case contribute to significant savings due to the fact that the product does not have to be repaired periodically.
