The drug "Aldetsin" (spray) is considered a medicine quite common. It is often prescribed to eliminate the common cold accompanying colds. About the drug "Aldecin" reviews can be found, in general, positive. Many patients consider this dosage form to be more convenient than drops. Among the advantages of the drug "Aldetsin" also note good tolerability, efficiency and speed. However, experts warn that it is not recommended to use the drug for an extended period.

The active component of the drug is beclomethasone dipropionate. Dosage is carried out by means of special nozzles for the nose and mouth.

The drug "Aldetsin" instruction refers to the local glucocorticosteroids. The drug has pronounced antiproliferative, anti-allergic and anti-inflammatory properties. Due to high local activity, the drug helps to eliminate the symptoms of allergic rhinitis and bronchial asthma. In this case, the active substance is contained in a dose in an extremely low concentration and does not have a systemic effect.

The drug "Aldetsin" recommends that patients with bronchial asthma, especially those who are dependent on corticotropin (adrenocorticotropic hormone) or systemic corticosteroids, should be prescribed, and who do not have this dependence, but for which therapy with other drugs is ineffective. Medication can be used in the treatment of obstructive bronchitis of chronic course, if the severity of inflammation indicates the need for a systemic corticosteroid. The drug "Aldetsin" instruction recommends as an additional therapy for polyps of the nose.

Before use, the container is shaken. Do not exceed the prescribed dosage.

Inhalations in the mouth are carried out on the day three or four times. It is recommended to have two irrigation (50 mcg) per reception. Children from six to twelve years of age are recommended to take one or two inhalations two or four times a day, according to the age and reaction of the patient.

Intranasal (in the nose) introduction is carried out in each nasal passage of 50 mcg. The frequency of inhalation is two or four times a day. In accordance with the patient's condition, the number of applications can be reduced.

It should be noted that the effect of intranasal administration is not observed immediately. As a rule, persistent relief of symptoms is noted within a few days after the beginning of the use of the Aldecin. The instruction does not recommend the introduction of more than twenty doses to adults and ten doses to children per day.

Prior to the implementation of intranasal inhalation, nasal passages should be released.

The drug can be used as a nasal spray and inhaler for the mouth. The total dosage per day should not exceed 1000 micrograms for adults and 500 micrograms for children.

When using the drug, side effects are likely to develop. Patients may have candidiasis of the pharynx and oral cavity. In order to prevent this disease, regular rinses should be performed after inhalation.

Intranasal administration of the drug may provoke a tingling sensation or sneezing. In some cases, a secretion of a hemorrhagic secretion from the nose can be noted. As a rule, these reactions take place on their own and do not require the withdrawal of the medicine.

The drug "Aldecin" is contraindicated in case of tuberculosis (active and latent form), hemorrhagic diathesis or the presence in the history of the disease of regular nosebleeds (for intranasal use). It is not recommended for pregnant women during the first trimester. The drug is contraindicated for individual intolerance.
