Master-class "How to make an asterisk from paper"

Any person strives to decorate his home, to give it a cozy and comfortable look. Pleasant "domesticity" home give small trinkets, photos on the walls and crafts made by themselves. I adore crafts and the master herself is pretty much and almost everything. My hands found application of the accumulated numerous plastic bottles, which became the basis of miniature bedside padded stools, and old pieces of glass, now serving as coffee table covers . Numerous interesting crafts made by me constantly accumulate in the house. And many friends like to take something as a souvenir, their interest.

In this article I will tell you how to make an asterisk of paper for decorating the interior. In order to make a three-dimensional star, I took the remnants of silvery paper, which had previously framed photo frames, blue and plain white paper. To understand how to make an asterisk from paper, one description is not enough, so I also provide detailed photos.

From the paper, I cut out the same square pieces, the length of each side is 5 cm. You can and should choose the size of the square that you yourself want. For one star, we need five paper squares. Now we begin the direct answer to the question of how to make a star with our own hands.

Each square, we first fold in half horizontally, and then draw a line along the vertical.

We get a separation of the leaflet into 4 conventional squares. For clarity, I traced the fold lines with a pencil.

The next step in our master class called "How to make an asterisk out of paper" is bending inward, towards the middle, of the outer corners. To put it more simply, we add each conventional square in half.

Then open the two opposite folded corners and flick the figure diagonally (in the figure I signed this line).

As a result, we will get five remarkable paper figures of incomprehensible shape, which in the end will help us understand how to make an asterisk from paper.

We bend each of these yet unsympathetic stellar components in half.

Now the free corners of the figures are inserted into each other.

We got the first star ray.

In the same way, we connect all the remaining figures with the first ray. As a result, we get a pretty paper star, the convex faces of which, on the one hand, are the junctions of the component parts, and on the other, the bends of the figures.

In order to use the resulting stars, I had already prepared a long dry branch, broke it into four small ones and painted it with acrylic paint. For each twig tied pieces of fishing line, at the ends of which and hung on an asterisk.

I placed the branches with asterisks in a vase made of newspapers and set it on a table in the corner of the staircase.

As you can see, making an asterisk from paper is not at all difficult. If you set a goal, you can decorate your interior with a lot of beautiful and original things made by yourself.
