Mark Podrabinek: biography of a TV journalist and traveler

Mark Podrabinek - TV journalist, photographer and traveler, presenter on the channel "My Planet". He is envious of many, because the man managed to combine work with pleasure.

Childhood

Mark is from the mountain village of Ust-Nera in Yakutia, known for extremely low temperatures. There was exiled his father Alexander, a former Soviet dissident.

The boy was born in 1979. His parents remember that at that time it was terribly cold: -63 degrees Celsius. Already an adult, Mark often jokes on this subject: they say, before leaving Yakutia, his body was covered with thick fur. And believes that the "little homeland" has left a noticeable imprint on the development of personality. However, given the conditions of the area, it is impossible not to agree with him.

Moving in

This event took place in 1991. At the age of 12, Mark Podrabinek went to Moscow, where he graduated from high school. Then the young man entered the Moscow State University studying for a journalist, but he never received a diploma: he simply stopped attending classes, heading to the North Caucasus.

But this was not a particularly surprising event, after all, after a year of business trips, in 2001, the student's performance declined significantly. And the taste of travel was impossible to forget.

Hobby with photography

The first large-scale trip, which Mark Podrabinek committed, led him to Chechnya. The gloomy atmosphere of the country made the young man make his first shots on a 2-megapixel soap box. He really wanted to capture what is happening for himself, so the quality of the photographs was of little importance.

However, without the professional activity of a television journalist, this hobby might not have appeared. Actually, after a failure with a higher education, Mark did not give up. The absence of the document did not prevent him from developing in the chosen field.

Work to the soul

Mark Podrabinek, whose biography is full of entertaining facts, began with a news reporter and eventually grew to the leader. In addition, at the moment the journalist himself shoots documentaries for the channel "My Planet". For 17 years the man has been engaged exclusively in television and photography.

Now he fully confirms the famous saying of Confucius about choosing a job for the soul. He managed to combine earnings and enjoyment of his own activities. This was again helped by the channel My Planet, which organized the project "Behind the Scenes", led by Mark Podrabinek. It accommodates both the journalist's hobbies: photography and exploring the world around.

Also released a TV show, which was filmed on the longest rally in Russia, a total complexity of 11 thousand kilometers.

Travels

As Mark himself says, he does not consider the number of countries he visited as a principle, so he never lists them in an interview. Passion for travel does not fade in him, despite the difficulties and phobias that are encountered in the process. Moreover, a man tries to fight his fears, overcoming everything that scares him. While helping not very much, but the photographer does not despair.

Believes that the country is surrounded by an atmosphere reigning in the air. It is for her that Podrabinek loves the Himalayas, Southeast Asia and Tel Aviv. And, of course, he wants to travel half the world, because the places in which the photographer has not been, much more visited.

A family

Mark Podrabinek with his wife and daughter Sonya removes living space than is absolutely satisfied, and while it does not intend to change. His long trips are perceived by beloved women calmly, although they make us miss the head of the family. However, the second half of Mark completely shares his hobbies and is not against traveling, however, while the daughter is not yet enough, not all plans are feasible.

Literally a year ago Mark, along with his wife and daughter, visited Africa, within the framework of the courses of his photography school. Sophia was pleased and showed herself on the best side in this trip: she was not capricious, did not interfere with adult students and was happy to participate in the search for shooting scenes. This inspired Podrabinek to take his daughter with him more often, and at the same time to organize trial family courses.

Hobby

The man considers the photo to be just a fad, but this did not stop him from founding a school called "Human Resources". It enjoys considerable success, despite the abundance of competition in this area. In addition, the TV journalist organizes trips to the former places of filming of his program, helping people to learn in practice, which is much more fun.

Podrabinek Mark, whose photo often flickers on the web, plans to organize his exhibition in the future. True, in one fell swoop it will not work out - they have done too many shots. But to see at least something that was not previously shown in free access, is worth a lot.
