Lidase: injections, inhalations, other procedures

What is Lydas? This enzyme agent, the active ingredient of which is hyaluronidase. The international name of the drug also sounds. On the market the product is presented as a lyophilate for the creation of a solution for internal and external use, dry powder for the preparation of inhalations.

Lidase is an enzyme compound that is obtained from the testes of cattle. It is capable of cleaving hyaluronic acid, reducing its viscosity, allowing as deep as possible to penetrate into the tissues. Increasing the permeability of large and small vessels, hyaluronidase accelerates the movement of fluid in the tissues, which leads to a decrease or complete disappearance of edema.

The drug "Lidase" prevents the formation of contractures (restriction of mobility) or helps get rid of those already formed. It increases the flexibility of joints, softens, removes scars. That is why doctors are increasingly using the tested drug "Lidase" to treat a very wide range of diseases associated with joints and tissues.

The injections are recommended in a variety of cases:

· To get rid of scars (burn, postoperative, traumatic).

· Treatment of long non-healing ulcers or wounds, including radiation and chemical origin.

· Stiffness or immobility of the joints.

Ankylosing spondylitis.

· Osteoarthritis.

Skin appearance of scleroderma.

· When preparing for plastic surgery.

· Hydrocephalus.

· Infarction.

Tuberculosis of the lungs.

Rheumatoid arthritis.

Allergic rhinitis.

· Defeat of nervous tissue, nerves.

Keratitis.

How is Lydas applied? The injections are usually put through the day (rarely daily) in the place of the scar, the contracture or next to it. If the nerve is affected, then the medication is injected directly into it. According to average indications, the course of treatment is 10-20 procedures, however, it is impossible to predict the number of injections in absentia.

Does Lydas help? The injections, it is proved, already after the first course they facilitate the condition, they allow to resolve the scars, improve the mobility of the joints.

However, this is not the only way to use Lidaz. The injections are useless if the eyes or lungs are affected. Therefore, for their healing use the composition, prepared their dry powder.

For the treatment of pulmonary tuberculosis, inhalations are made (5 ml of solution, 20-25 procedures). In especially severe cases, inhalations are combined with injections. However, only a physician can decide the feasibility of such a combination.

Where else has Lydas been used?

In ophthalmology 0.1% solution is instilled in the eye. At the same time, it is necessary to take antibacterial drugs: antibiotics or sulfonamides.

How else to use the drug "Lidase" in ophthalmology? Injections with retinopathies are placed directly under the temporal skin. If the patient has seen a vitreous hemorrhage, the injections are done under the conjunctiva and / or retrobulbarno (inside the eye).

In other cases, the drug solution can be used to impregnate the dressings.

It should be noted that the course of treatment Lidaza should not exceed 60 days. If the expected improvement has not come to the end, then take a break for half a month, and then resume the introduction of the medicine.

It must be remembered that when an overdose of the drug may occur local hemorrhage, there is nausea. Possible loss of consciousness, vomiting, a sharp decrease in pressure, tachycardia. Such manifestations are rare. More often, side effects are recorded in the form of hives, burning at the injection site, redness of the skin.

When appointing a course of treatment, the physician should familiarize himself with the patient's anamnesis. This is necessary because Lydase is contraindicated in tuberculosis patients with hemoptysis, hemorrhages, infectious diseases that cause acute inflammation.
