Cons of this material: poor moisture tolerance, flat, exceptionally smooth appearance (without texture and milling) and a restriction on the installation of handles (their choice is limited only by waybills).

MDF-facades

The most common type. MDF is also compressed sawdust, but unlike particleboard, they are smaller, and resin is not used for their connection, which increases their ecological compatibility. The kitchen façade from this material can be covered with PVC film, special furniture enamel or natural veneer. It is much more diverse and stronger than the previous species and besides is not afraid of moisture. Its structure is more dense, and due to this, this material can be given a concave or slightly rounded at the ends of the shape, and with the help of a milling to make a stylish drawing. Very beautiful look laminated facades MDF, whose film "plays" in the sunlight. The disadvantage is only one - a higher cost compared to the EAF. In addition, to remodel such facades is almost impossible, and therefore all dimensions should be as accurate as possible.

Array of natural wood

The most expensive type. For the manufacture of such an elite facade, valuable species of trees are used: cherry, ash, alder, acacia, walnut, etc. The service life, durability, quality in comparison with chipboard and MDF is much higher, but the price frankly "bites", and afford such a facade can not everyone. In addition, such material is demanding for care, is afraid of mechanical damage and does not tolerate moisture and temperature changes (cracks may appear).

Recommendations for selection

When choosing the type of facade, first of all, you need to pay attention to the operating conditions, unpretentious care, appearance and cost. If the budget is limited, and you want something original, you can make some facades of an aluminum profile and with an insert from a matte or clear glass. In addition, if DSP-facades are chosen, you can use different colors for the lower and upper lockers, choose a thicker edge and order expensive fittings.
