Is it possible to bleach hair at home without harm?

Discoloration of hair at home is the goal of many women, but not every representative of the beautiful half of all humanity knows exactly how to do it right and safe. First of all, one should think about the fact that the clarifying agent should not harm - neither to the skin, nor directly to the hair. There are several tools that will help to make the desired impact - one of the easiest to use and at the same time popular is hydrogen peroxide, through which hair loss will pass quickly, although not without some damage. For safer lightening, it is best to choose an oil based agent, usually in the form of a cream or powder, which in combination with hydrogen peroxide (softening it) will have the necessary effect on the hair.

When planning to bleach hair at home, it is worth remembering that all the chemical cosmetic preparations intended for this purpose have hydrogen peroxide and ammonia in their composition, that is, the means that are among the most powerful colors that affect the natural pigments of hair and neutralize their. That's why many women believe that it's much safer to use non-factory colors, but ordinary peroxide - in the form of tablets, solutions or powders. In order not to damage your natural jewelry, this product should be diluted with ammonia (6-7 drops), a small amount of shampoo and glycerin (5-6 drops). Hair before staining should not be moistened, since the preserved fatty grease is able to protect the structure and hair bulbs to a certain extent.

If you want to lighten the hair on the body, then remember: the duration of the procedure should not exceed several minutes, otherwise you can get an ugly yellowish or rusty shade instead of discoloration. If the procedure only affects the hair on the head, then hydrogen peroxide can be maintained for up to 15-30 minutes, depending on what shade is planned to be obtained. Another important point - after the clarification of hair must be washed alkaline (at least - slightly alkaline) and neutralize the agent with slightly acidified water. Re-decolouration of hair in the home can be carried out no earlier than 3-4 weeks after the strands are grown from the roots, and a solution of hydrogen peroxide can only be applied to these areas.

Sometimes it is necessary not to change the hair color radically, but only slightly lighten them, giving the natural color a different shade. To help in this case, some natural remedies are capable, for example, a clarifying mask with honey. Before its use, the hair should be prepared - rinse with shampoo and a small amount of soda, do a light massage without washing off the formed foam, then wash off the shampoo and curl your curls. Further on the head you can apply honey of any sort, wrap the hair with a film and a towel, but not too tightly, since in this case the clarifying properties of honey will not be very active. After 8-10 hours (the procedure is best performed at night), the locks will acquire an even golden tint, shine and a silky sensation. It is believed that such hair bleaching at home is akin to discoloration with hydrogen peroxide, but it is much safer, since honey also releases useful substances that strengthen the structure of curls, hair follicles that heal and relieve inflammation from the scalp.

The variant with honey can be considered optimal, as it allows you to achieve the desired result without harm. A mask with honey is allowed to be applied also in case it is required to carry out discoloration of facial hair - this method can not be called a fast one, however it allows to achieve the greatest possible effect.
