For its implementation, a pump is needed to wash the heat exchangers. It is connected to the input and output of the heat exchanger. As a result, a contour is formed. Further, a chemical reagent is poured into the special container of the pump, after which it enters the heat exchanger. The flow direction on different devices can be changed manually or automatically. After completion of the washing, the reagent will be neutralized. It is drained and the heat exchanger itself is rinsed with plain water.

Types of washing equipment

If the heating system is cleaned in time, it will help to get rid of corrosion, scale and sediment. There is a special equipment for servicing heat exchangers. Several types of such installations can be distinguished. We will discuss them further.

Hydrotreating

This technology is the supply of compressed air into the heating system together with water. It is possible to perform hydro-washing by two methods - a flow method and a filling method. The first technology implies full filling of the system with water. Thus it is necessary to open the crane of the air collector. After the maximum filling, the valve is closed. Compressed air is then fed into the system by the compressor.

Chemical products for washing

They are used to obtain the maximum effect from the washing of heat exchangers and the heating system with copper pipes. Also chemicals are suitable for steel products. With installations for washing heat exchangers, liquids of red color are used, which, reacting with impurities, change their hue. Depending on the amount of dirt, the amount of money is adjusted. Along with special fluids, hydrochloric acid or orthophosphoric acid is also used. These substances will help to clean the heat exchanger "pipe in the pipe" or any other as quickly and efficiently as possible.

For high-quality cleaning, 10 to 30 percent of chemicals are pumped into the system. The use of aggressive substances allows not only to clean various elements of the system, but also protects against corrosion, foaming of water, increases the service life of the boiler.

This is a very affordable product that allows you to clean the entire heating system as cleanly as possible. But it is important to understand that the device is intended for use in systems where the volume of the coolant is up to 300 liters. This appliance removes scale and other impurities. "Romantik-20" has the function of automatic reverse control. The pump capacity is 1.5 bar, the head height is up to 10 meters, and the performance characteristics are 35-40 liters per minute.

"Ropuls"

This installation can be used not only for heat exchangers and heating systems. It effectively cleans the drinking water supply system. Also this device is widely used for cleaning water-heated floors, solar collectors and other equipment. "Roplus" removes the effects of corrosion, scale and other contaminants.

Booster

  • Tank.
  • Pump.
  • TEN.

There are systems without TEN. However, they have low efficiency. Let's see how to make a booster for washing heat exchangers. The first thing you need a tank. In the role of a container can act a can of plastic with a volume of 10 liters. Also, hoses of ½ or ¾ in diameter and a pump are required.

Make a booster based on the type of pump. This may be a submersible type element or a separate pump. In the case of a submersible, no holes in the tank are needed. A hose is connected to the pump, which is connected to a heat exchanger. The second is taken to the tank. The main thing is that the pump can withstand the impact of acid - there are a number of chemically resistant devices. The remote pump is more convenient for these purposes. You can apply even the most common circulation mechanisms for heating systems. To connect to the tank you need to use the drive. It is connected to the bottom of the tank and then clamped with nuts. All connections must be leakproof. Then a coarse filter is installed on the drill. A pump is mounted behind it. The second hose is connected to the heat exchanger. This is how the system is cleaned up.

Minus such devices in the absence of a TENA design. Rinsing the heat exchanger with your own hands using a cold reagent will take much longer. Also this is higher electricity costs.
