Independent Moscow Theater: repertoire, actors

Independent Moscow Theater was born not so long ago, but the public has already managed to learn and love it. This is a pretty successful project, as viewers always look forward to every new premiere.

About the theater

The theater's creator Dmitry Rachkovsky reveals the secret of why his brainchild is so popular. According to him, the reason is that his troupe does not need theater awards, does not aim to win in festivals, nor does it attach importance to what theatrical critics think about their productions. Actors work for the audience and receive a corresponding return from them.

The first performance, which was presented to the public by the Independent Moscow Theater on November 15, 2003, was a production based on the novel by M. Bulgakov "The Master and Margarita." The role of Woland was then performed by Victor Avilov, famous for his numerous films. In the role of Margarita, Olga Kabo shone. The play is still included in the repertoire of the theater and has been shown in different countries already more than 700 times, it enjoys great success with the audience. In total there are more than twenty different productions in the arsenal of the troupe. Performances of the Moscow Independent Theater are distinguished by magnificent costumes, wonderful music, incendiary dances and non-standard drama.

Troupe

Independent Moscow Theater can be rightly called international, because it is served by artists not only from Russia, but also from the former union republics, for example the People's Artist of Latvia Ivars Kalnins, the popular Estonian artist Mikael Molchanus, the Honored Artist of Ukraine Vladimir Goryansky, the People's Artist of Ukraine Olga Sumskaya, Ruslana Pysanka. All of them are not just invited, but are part of the troupe.

More than forty artists, five of them have the title of Honored Artist of Russia and three - People's, constitute the Moscow Independent Theater. Actors who serve here are known to a wide audience for their numerous works in films, TV shows and on television: Svetlana Permyakova, Anfisa Chekhova, Elena Korikova, Alexander Semchev, Vera Sotnikova, Andrey Fedortsov, Natalia Bochkareva, Olga Kabo, Anatoly Kot, Vladimir Steklov , Evelina Bledans, Natalia Varley, Alexander Pashutin, Lyubov Tolkalina, Maria Golubkina, Dmitry Isaev.

Casanova

The play "Casanova" Moscow Independent Theater shows since 2006 with constant success. The main role is played by Sergey Glushko - the legendary Tarzan. This is a comedy about the adventures of the famous and best in the world lover - Casanova. He did not miss a single beauty, and women dreamed of being close to him. But one day he really fell in love with the beautiful Francesca, who was a famous seductress in Venice. The woman was unable to resist the seducer. But can Casanova abandon his habitual way of life for the sake of love and the crowds of thirsty beauties?

"Grooms"

Performance "Grooms" Moscow Independent Theater has included in its repertoire recently - in January 2014. This is a comedy based on Nikolai Gogol's play. In the center of the story, Agafya Tikhonovna is a merchant's daughter who gives birth to an entire house, bored and gives herself up to dreams of her future wife. The aunt tries to persuade her niece to choose a cloth seller, but the girl is stubborn and finds a large number of arguments against this nominee: he is just a merchant and also bearded, and she would like her husband to be a nobleman. Svaha Fyokla Ivanovna is searching for a worthy groom for Agafia Tikhonovna, and thanks to her efforts the experienced sailor, court counselor, infantry officer and executor are coming to the bride. One of them is looking for a rich dowry in the bride, the other needs that she must know the French language ... All four potential suitors gather in the house of Agafia to look at her and show themselves. The girl can not make a choice, which of the wives will prefer ...

"Wii"

The play "Viy" Moscow Independent Theater has been playing for 10 years - since January 2005. The director himself defines the genre of this action as a shocking comedy, since as here, this play has not been staged anywhere else. A terrible story that tells about the death of the beautiful girl Pannochka, in this version turned into a cheerful comedy, which is filled with incendiary dances, jokes and texts, the authors of which are the famous humorists. In the production of the Moscow Independent Theater, no one dies, but it's funny that even the best KVN fades.

The audience is very fond of this performance, and after watching it their mood rises for a whole year ahead. The audience begins to laugh at the very beginning of the production and laughs at least another three days after it ends. Although sometimes it's scary, it's still "Viy". This is one of the best performances of the Independent Theater. But those who crave to see the classic version of the play and do not accept any innovations, this version is not recommended for viewing. This is not the "Wii", to which all are accustomed. This is an entertaining entertainment show that will leave a lot of impressions for life and thanks to which everyone laughs to the upside.
