Those who decided to arrange a beach holiday in Croatia, it is best to go there in May and September, when the warmest and sunny days begin. The beaches here are very different from the generally accepted standards. They are narrow and mostly of pebbles. There are no beach parties and large hotels on the Adriatic coast, there are rarely noisy companies. A positive moment is the silence and purity of the surrounding nature. For some people, vacation in Croatia is an opportunity to finally be alone with yourself. Tourists who visited the beaches of Dalmatia earlier recommend to take with them rubber pantotels that will protect their feet from stones and sea urchins.

In this country there are a lot of excursions. The most visited city in this regard is Dubrovnik. Here is the Puddle Square, in its center stands the Orlando Column, whose top was adorned with the white flag of the state for 4 centuries. Nearby is the Sponza Palace, built in the 16th century. It is created in the Gothic style and early Renaissance style. Arches and ornaments of the palace amaze all tourists with its beauty. Previously, there was a mint and customs, today in this building the state archive is organized. On the square there is the Baroque church of St. Vlacha, who is the patron saint of the city. It is interesting that in the altar is his silver statue, where he holds the layout of the whole city.

In Dubrovnik is the Princely Palace erected in the 15th century. From that century until our time, the building was periodically subjected to explosions of gunpowder, which was inside, to numerous damages, but it remained to the present day. In 1872, the City Museum was confirmed here, telling about the history of Dubrovnik. In the Princely Palace is the only monument to the rich sailor who bequeathed all his money to the city, Miho Pratsata. It is difficult to imagine a holiday in Croatia without visiting the Rupe Museum, which was built in the 16th century. Its uniqueness lies in the fact that it is actually a former granary, capable of accommodating up to 1,200 tons of grain. In the rocks for storing grain crops, several wells were hollowed out, which were covered with a special moisture resistant plaster. Today, here you can get acquainted with some objects of the Croatian way of life, their national costumes.
