Childhood and youth

Konstantin Barulin was born in the fall of 1984 in the Soviet Union, namely in Karaganda. The guy from childhood was very fond of playing sports, and so his parents gave him to hockey. At first he did not stand out against the background of his peers, but this continued until the young athlete played "in the field." Once the coach put him on the gate and at that moment decided the fate of the young athlete. Kostya liked to stand on the gate so much that he connected his life with this role. It is noteworthy that already in his youth he demonstrated high rates. Thanks to the rapid progress of the hockey player, they started to consider him one of the most talented in his generation.

He spent his childhood and youth in Kazakhstan, but started hockey professionally in Russia. At the age of seventeen, the goalkeeper joins the Tyumen Gazovik. From that moment begins an adult career of young talent.

Professional Sports

From 2001 to 2003 Konstantin Barulin played for his first professional team "Gasovik". With his confident game, the young man drew the attention of several large clubs. As a result, the season 2004/2005 Barulin spent in the St. Petersburg SKA. He did not become a stable base player and periodically played for the second team. In the end, he returned to Gazovik, where he finished the championship to the end. At that time, the athlete was only twenty years old, and he is still among the most promising hockey players of the country.

The next season for the young goalkeeper began in the form of the capital's "Spartacus." Here, too, he did not stay long and already in 2006 moved to the "Chemist" Mytischi. In this team, the athlete showed his best, and even won a few trophies. A confident game in the "Chemist" led to the fact that in 2008 Barulin became a player of one of the most titled clubs in Russia - CSKA. As part of the army, he spent two good seasons and in 2010 returned to the "Chemist".

Career in the national team

Konstantin Barulin managed to play practically for all age categories of the Russian national team. Performances for the youth team of the country began at the age of eighteen. The following year he went to the youth World Cup in the national team. He was not the main player and spent only one fight, missed one washer. That tournament ended in victory for Russia.

In the 2007/2008 season, Barulin won the tournament in the Western Division as part of the Khimik club. Being hockey player "Atlanta", in the season 2010/2011 became the most valuable player in the playoffs. Five times he became a participant of the match of all stars of the Continental Hockey League. In 2011 he became the best goalkeeper in the Karjala Cup. In the same year, Barulin was recognized as the best goalkeeper of the national championship.
