"Groza 04": the basis for the creation and features of weapons

Of course, many fans of weapons like all-metal "toys." However, recently it has become fashionable to acquire traumatic pistols having plastic frames. Why? Everything is very simple. It is considered that the weapon of such a design is in comparison with the all-metal more reliable and perfect in ballistic and technical plans. At the same time, the plastic frame provides greater comfort due to weight reduction. One of these weapons is the pistol "Groza 04". Today we will talk about it.

Base for creation

Many people who know a lot about traumatic weapons, believe that the model should be attributed to the continuation of the whole family. Nevertheless, this opinion is erroneous. It would be much more logical to single out the pistol "Groza 04", about which you can find reviews at the end of this article, in a separate, if so it can be said, product line. The thing is that the model is in fact an analog of the "Fort 17R". Previous models were also produced jointly with the Ukrainian company of the same name, and 04 was no exception. More specifically, in Ukraine for the traumatic pistols of the series are produced spare parts and components, and the assembly takes place directly on the basis of the plant "Technoarms". There is also a primary debugging of weapons. Needless to say, that already here on the surface of the gun put the identification marks? Such a tandem is not a novelty.

Innovations

The shape of the weapon, as well as its ergonomics, have not been changed. Let's remind once again that in order to create a pistol "Groza 04", Russian engineers took as a basis a traumatic pistol of Ukrainian production under the name "Fort 17". Already, we can say that there can be no special claims to the tactical and technical characteristics of the gun, as the previously mentioned model in its time also clearly did not need to be modified. The only thing that can upset the user, who decided to purchase "Storm", is that the gun does not have flexible fit for a particular hand size. Sometimes removable rear parts are difficult to find, and this can take away a lot if not money, time and nerves for sure. At the same time the pistol "Groza 04" in this respect is not some kind of exception. Almost everywhere, we can face almost identical situations, because the adjustable arms for traumatic guns (and not only traumatic weapons) are a real rarity. In view of this, it is not necessary to call a complex adjustment to the size of the hand a disadvantage, it would be illogical.

If we try to recall the review of previous models of "Thunderstorms", we will certainly come to the conclusion that the most interest in the whole family was caused directly by the gun barrels. This traumatic weapon has at once four variants of trunks. They very quickly received the corresponding names under the letter V, differing from each other by indices from 1 to 4. It should be noted that there is a significant difference between the trunks. Not to mention this fact would be blasphemy. At the same time, the second and third variations have a certain structural similarity. Paradoxically, with practically the same design, the trunks demonstrate in practice quite different results.

Trunks and their features

If we consider the first version of the trunks, then we note that they are suspiciously similar to those that are used by IzhMeh for integration into their devices. Inside, you can find two trapezoidal teeth. They have pointed edges. The teeth are designed to break a bullet during a shot in a direct sense, which rushes with enviable speed. Thus, we automatically receive a ban on the use of large-caliber ammunition. Why so? Let's explain the process, so to speak, more popular. A larger supply provides more power when shot, right? But, passing through the pointed denticles, the bullet will be torn. Consequently, we will lose all power at this moment, and the bullet will lose its speed, starting to move along an unpredictable trajectory. From this it is possible to deduce the conclusion that the "Thunderstorm 04" photo of which you can find in this article obviously does not attract the title of the ideal means of self-defense even in the summer season. It is during this period that the potential enemy is dressed lightly and brightly, which allows the use of medium-power cartridges.

The second, third and fourth versions

Such trunks were installed on traumatic guns only at the first time. Very soon the company changed the course by developing the second version. Obstacles in the channel of the trunk were replaced by solid ones. In practice, this meant their expansion. Only then did the developers decide to make the passage of the bullet through the channel less loss, and therefore the obstacles were reduced in addition to the height. The version of the barrel with a solid obstacle, reduced at once in two planes, is the third kind. Many experts believe that the ideal traumatic weapon should not have any obstacles in the barrel channel. Well, engineers counted the same, and therefore in the fourth version of the trunk realized this structural feature.

In general, there are no bad reviews about this weapon. They appeared only in the first time or now they are left by those who own old models. The new variations are more perfect in terms of shooting and in terms of operation due to a change in the version of the barrel and the use of a modified design. Therefore, there are no complaints about weapons, it copes with its tasks excellently.
