Grant Bowler is an actor born on July 18, 1968 in Auckland, New Zealand. His father worked as a salesman, and his mother as an insurance agent. When the boy grew up, his parents were forced to move with him to Australia, where they lived first in the city of Perth, and then in Brisbane. The actor gained fame thanks to a short appearance in the fourth season of the series "Staying Alive".

Grant Bowler graduated from the famous Australian institution - the National Institute of Dramatic Arts, whose graduates became such famous Hollywood stars as Mel Gibson, Keith Blanchett, Hugo Weaving, Sam Warrington and Baz Luhrmann. After graduating in 1991 and receiving a degree in performing arts, Bowler took a job at the Sydney Film and Television School as a drama teacher.
