Gestures of hands

Almost all the gestures characteristic of a person, psychology, have learned to interpret, explaining their meaning, because they can express almost as much as the facial expression. Conversation with gestures is sometimes much more expressive and informative than verbal communication. Our hands, for example, can show our true attitude to the interlocutor, tell us about our mood, state, intentions and experiences. Part of the gestures are positive and they need to be used more often, some are negative and they need to be controlled.

Some gestures of hands are very obvious, they are quite understandable, and some can be read only by specialists. There are also such gestures that we make intuitively, without realizing that they are generally peculiar to us. Unfortunately, such gestures can do us harm, because they are easily read by the interlocutors.

The stroking of the forehead with fingers means puzzling and thinking.

Such gestures of hands as rubbing hands transmit positive expectations. This is a kind of signal about the positive attitude of a person, his confidence in the favorable development of events.

Hands opened with palms show openness and sincerity.

Free, relaxed arms indicate calmness, peace.

Scratching the chin testifies to the thinking of the solution.

If the hand is at the chin, the index finger is located along the cheek, and the rest is below the mouth level, then the person is critical to the situation or to the interlocutors.

The hand gently covers the mouth - it means that something is trying to hide from you or to feel distrust.

Pay attention to how people behave when they meet or greet the handshake. If a person holds his hand so that it is on top of yours, then it seeks to demonstrate its superiority over you. If his hand is stretched so that your is on top, then he is ready to obey. But if you grasp your hand with both hands at once, it's worth to be alert, because such a gesture says that something you want to receive from you or, at least, is energized by your energy.

Tapping the table with your fingers expresses impatience, a disorderly search through them - nervousness.

Hands, rested in the side, show impudence and attempts to show their own superiority over the interlocutor. These are negative gestures of the hands.

The hands on the knees are folded palms inward (in a sitting position) express respect and even submission. If the interlocutor wraps his hands around his knees or touches the table, then he does not want to continue the conversation and is set for his quickest completion.

The clutch of hands with a weave of fingers shows disappointment and a desire to hide their negative attitude to the events. Learn to control the gestures of the hands, and you can achieve a lot.
