Genre of parody: what is it, where is it used

From the earliest childhood, all people like to imitate someone. For example, small children, who have not yet learned to speak, already repeat the sounds that dogs, cats, cows, pigs, birds and so on publish.

Girls and older boys begin to imitate their favorite idols, performing their works or voicing expressions from films and serials. And this is not surprising. Everyone is trying to be equal to someone.

But in art there is a special genre called parody. It's the same as imitating someone. Consider where this word came from.

Parody - what is it?

The word "parody" comes from the Greek words "couple" - "near", "against", and "dia" - "song". A parody is an art where people imitate the already existing films, songs, clips and other works in a modified form. Usually this is done in a humorous way, as a mockery.

Anything can be parodied: films, video clips, songs, some theatrical productions, compositions, poems, the actions of some singer or actor.

The very first parody is connected with antiquity, with ancient literature and was called "Batrakhomyomahiya." This is a parody poem about the war of mice and frogs, using travesty (when describing a small object in high style). In this case, small items are mice and frogs.

Parodies can be represented in different directions.

Directions of parody

There are parodies of songs, movies, literary, parody sites and others. Each of them is also classified according to certain characteristics.

Consider what a movie parody is. What is "cinema" everyone knows, then, the movie parody is a parody of a certain film. The most successful is imitation of a well-known film. Such films as "Do not threaten the southern central", "Naked gun", "Hotheads", "Top secret", "Childish cinema" and others were parodied.

The horror film "A very scary movie" - really keeps the audience in a tense state. There are pretty eerie moments when you want to close your eyes and do not look at the screen anymore. But the parody of this film makes viewers not only not to be afraid, but also to loudly laugh. Yes, there is a lot of blood here, but it's still not scary, but funny.

Web-sites are made on popular web pages, on their external and internal design.

People are increasingly making parodies of songs, usually the most famous ones. Both the words and the melody itself can change. For example, a parody was made for such songs as "Flying gait ...", "Together cheerfully to walk ...", "Slowly minutes swim away into the distance ..." and others. The royal hymn, and the anthem of the Russian Federation, did not remain without attention.

Literary parodies are also popular. Here you can include famous works, theater productions, poems and others.

In the parody there are three main genre ways:

1. In a comic or humorous form, that is not mockery or mockery of a film or a song, but with good intentions towards the original. People make such parodies either because of the desire to imitate, or they want to gain popularity in networks.

2. The satirical form means against the original. It is presented as a mockery of the main characters of the film, making actors with terrible faces, putting them in awkward situations. Or there is a mockery of the words of songs - they are replaced by stupid, sometimes even obscene.

3. The latter is called "parody use", that is, the focus is only on intraliterary goals.

Parodies on TV

A few years ago on TV appeared and immediately all fell in love with the telecast "The Big Difference." It has gained immense popularity, which indicates that this genre is very in demand. In this program, parodies were presented on popular politicians, musicians, TV presenters and so on. The very name of the show seems to indicate that viewers should find the difference between the parody and the original.

Very originally, the musical parody "What is the crisis?" Was composed for the song of the band DDT.

The most famous parodists of our country are Alexander Pushnoy, Vladimir Vinokur, Maxim Galkin, Eugene Petrosyan, Alexander Peskov, Elena Vorobei, Mikhail Grushevsky and others. All of them can be seen on television, on the Internet. They parody different people, actors, performers.

Favorite group "Ex-BB"

Quite non-standard is the famous "Ex-BB" group. Musically literate, with high artistry, the participants of this group parodied many songs. In addition to the songs, they made skits for films. For example, the film "Gentlemen of Fortune" fell in love with the audience. Visiting their performance one day, you will never forget.

Afterword

It became fashionable to make skits for clips. For example, the famous clip "On Labuteny" was parodied several times. And all the options are interesting and funny.

In the 60-70s of the twentieth century, Viktor Chistyakov was an outstanding parodist.

Analyzing the concept of "parody" (what is it where it is applied), we can say that this genre of art is created to raise the mood of the audience.
