Flowers hydrangeas - what can be more beautiful?

Hortense amazes with its beauty and fluffiness of flowering. For many gardeners, it is a dream, because the bush is completely covered with delicate inflorescences. Flowers hydrangeas are mostly of two shades - white and pink. The plant belongs to the Hortensian family, which has about 100 species.

Among the variety of species can be found directly growing and curly, evergreen, dwarfish, frost-resistant. In Russia they grow a hydrangea tree and a panicle. Flowers hydrangeas are appreciated for their decorative, so many gardeners want to get the seedlings of this beauty for decorating suburban areas. Designers often include these plants in compositions for landscape design. Depending on the variety, the shrub can grow up to 2 m in height. An unusual beauty is a hydrangea in autumn. At this time on one plant you can observe both hydrangea flowers, and seed boxes, as well as foliage of different colors. But not only in the garden areas is this amazing beauty. As a home flower hydrangea is also grown, but you must be aware of the main rules of care.

You can grow it from a handle, a branch or a part of a bush. It is better to do this in the spring or autumn. In regions with a cool climate, it is worthwhile to postpone landing until the spring. In advance, you need to prepare a pit 50 * 50 * 50 cm to the bottom should be placed any drainage: expanded clay, broken brick, river fine stone with sand. When the bushes are planted, the root neck should not go underground. The soil is compacted and abundantly watered, and the soil is mulched around the plant with peat (this will prevent rapid evaporation of moisture). In summer, it is necessary to make additional fertilizing. Flowers hydrangeas take a lot of energy from an adult plant, therefore, along with organic, you need to make minerals. In the spring and early summer, potassium sulfate or urea is used, and in the autumn - superphosphate. It is worth noting that excessive watering is as harmful as drought.

Planting material is harvested from the second half of summer. The best time is July, and in warmer areas it is possible later. For the cuttings, green shoots are selected which have not yet become covered with thick bark. They are selected from the apical stems, leaving 2-3 buds per stem. Lower leaves should be cut off, and the upper leaves should be left, cutting only half. For early rooting, the lower part of the cut can be treated with a growth accelerator and planted in a light sandy substrate.

From the top it is better to close the film. It is worth remembering regular watering. After about 3 weeks shoots should take root, and next year from these cuttings will grow flowers. Hydrangea garden (photo above) loves lighted places, but does not bear direct hits of rays. The best place is a sliding shadow. The plants can adapt to the shade, but the flowering will be weak and not so long. The plant hibernates with a temperature of 3 to 8 degrees below zero, but in more severe winters the root system suffers. Stamp varieties are formed long - for 4-5 years. They are resistant to diseases and rarely suffer from pests and parasites.
