Elegant knots - ways to tie a tie

To date, there are several dozen ways in the world of how beautiful it is to tie and wear a tie. It's not one that it should be right, because the perfect look of a tie and the whole costume consists not only of a correctly built and tightened knot - its role is played by the harmony between the fabric of the tie and the shirt, its length and width, color scale and many Other subtleties. Only from their harmonious connection is born an ideally tied necktie.

Different ways of tying a tie unite several conditions that must necessarily be fulfilled. Firstly, it should be remembered that different knots require different amounts of material, and this must be taken into account, because this item of the men's wardrobe is not bound to fall below the belt buckle in a tied form, but it should not be too short either. This or that knot of tie should be selected depending on the event, which is going to its owner - the meeting will be more appropriate for the classic version, and at the party something more extravagant. About how to wear a tie correctly, it has been said many times - this thing should fit well in style and colors with all clothing, and first of all, with a suit and shirt, and also with accessories, that is, with cuff links and clamps. Ideally, if the entire style of clothing is sustained in a classical style, with a minimum number of patterns, because in this case, both a wide and thin tie will look great even with colored ornaments and bright colors.

Of all the types of nodes, the simplest is the "four-in-hand", which can be used by those who have just started to learn this complicated matter. A tie for such a knot is chosen any - any length, from different materials, just like the shirt (the main condition is that the knot does not overlap the collar). When properly executed, a slightly asymmetric conical knot is created, slender and elegantly sloppy.

Simple ways to tie a tie - "Oriental" (small knot) and "Italian" (square or "Christensen"). For the first one, a silk tie is best suited, since it is such a thin material that will make it possible to get a knot of small size that occupies a small part of the length of the thing. Ideal for tall men, allowing you to observe the basic rule - the wide ends of the tie can not help but touch the belt buckle. The second way, on the contrary, suggests using the material "plump", for example, wool or cashmere, so that a small knot looks solid and presentable.

One of the most difficult tie knots is considered to be Windsor - a classic way of tying, volumetric and large. His name, as is commonly believed, went on behalf of the Duke of Windsor, but the duke himself is not only that the creator of such a knot was not, but did not use it, choosing other ways of tying a tie, usually the simplest. "Windsor" is very complicated in the performance of nodes, but the result will justify all the efforts. If you do not want to work on creating a classic "Windsor" site, you can do with a compromise option - "half-windsor", a way of tying universal and flexible. The knot turns out not too voluminous, but on a tie from a material of average gravity (dense silk) it looks very effectively. To learn such tying is simple enough - it is enough to repeat all the manipulations several times in front of the mirror, following the observance of the desired shape of the knot, creating wrinkles or removing them.

All of the above ways of tying a tie will give the suit a business and elegant look, stylish and modern. However, there is another way, without which it is impossible to imagine a festive and elegant costume - a knot that creates a bow-tie.
