Volunteers will be supported

In mid-December 2011 in Moscow will be a series of courses and trainings "Do good." The activities are aimed at young people, who are interested in volunteering . The project is conducted by an individual entrepreneur Alexei Yuryevich Zolotov with the support of the Department of Family and Youth Policy of Moscow.

The desire to engage in volunteer activity does not come from every modern young man. Young people with this desire often do not have the right amount of information about volunteering, do not have the practical skills necessary for its implementation. Noble impulses of the soul do not find the proper support, the intention to help others remains unrealized.

The project "Do Good" aims to involve young people in directly volunteering activities, to fill the gaps in knowledge necessary for the implementation of good deeds. There are many areas of volunteering in which a budding volunteer can prove himself: social patronage of orphanages, environmental protection, the revival of ancient folk crafts, etc.

To participate in the project it is planned to involve both children and volunteers who are familiar with the volunteer activity. The events will involve Moscow high school students, students, working youth - only about five thousand people.

In the process of teaching lectures, young people will get a better idea of what volunteer activities are, they will understand which categories of citizens need help first, and will study the legal framework regulating volunteer activity.

During the discussion "Volunteers and Society" the participants of the event will try to find answers to the following questions: who really needs the help of volunteers, and who does not, how to choose the forms of assistance to the needy, how to organize a volunteer event, what not to do and how to determine the effectiveness Specific event?

Special game exercises will help young people to consolidate the acquired knowledge, gain skills of finding a contact, revealing the degree of trust.

In the process of counseling, volunteers will receive recommendations on the proper development of their own projects, after which they will begin to develop them.

At the final stage of the event, 10 programs will be presented in different areas of volunteer activity. The organizers of the project "Do Good" will provide ten sites for the implementation of volunteer projects in the territory of Moscow.
