Day of the food industry worker is a holiday of all professional bakers, cooks and specialists of related specialties. It is celebrated not only in the Russian Federation, but also in Ukraine. It is customary to celebrate on the penultimate Sunday in October, doing it every year.

History

Possessing almost half a century of history, this remarkable day dates back to the Soviet Union. The State Duma in 1966 issued a decree approving the Day of a worker in the food industry.
