Danil Koretsky is the author of many detectives, novels about the work of special services and criminal elements, as well as a number of scientific works. Biography

Koretsky was born on August 4, 1948 in the city of Rostov-on-Don. Both parents of the author worked as doctors. Father - a dentist, Yulia's mother - a cardiologist. In memory of the deceased uncle, the child was called Don, but the registrar did not register a person with that name. Then the name Danil was chosen, with one "I", in contradiction to Daniel.

At the age of 19, the young man receives a diploma of the Radio Technical School, and after another 3 years he successfully completes his studies at the Faculty of Law of Rostov University.

Service in law enforcement agencies

Immediately after completing his studies at the university, Koretsky Danil Arkadevich arranged to work in the ROVD as investigator. Three years later, in 1975, he became a senior research fellow in the department of criminological research of the laboratory in the North Caucasus region.

In this position Danil Koretsky worked for 5 years. In 1981 he transferred to the faculty of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the USSR in Rostov-on-Don. With the collapse of the Union, he holds the previous position of head of the department of criminalistics and criminal executive rights, and the institution is renamed the Rostov Institute of Law of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.

Service and creative achievements

Danil Koretsky, whose biography is full of numerous stories for creative works, successfully transferred the real cases of his colleagues to pages of books. At the moment he is a police colonel, an honorary employee of the internal affairs agencies of the Russian Federation, a doctor of law, a professor, a member of the Academy of Economics of Finance and Law, and a member of the Union of Russian Writers.

At the beginning of his career in law enforcement, while in the position of investigator, Danil Koretsky begins to engage in creativity. He writes small works devoted to criminal topics. This affects his attitude to higher management. It refers to him with apprehension and caution and does not support the novice author. But still it does not affect his progress on the career ladder.

Koretsky published more than 40 novels, which are popular and published in more than 15.5 million copies. Three of them feature films and serials. In addition, the fruits of his work are 350 popular science and journalistic works, as well as 146 scientific works and more than 20 art stories and stories related to the work of internal organs, special services, and criminal groups.

Danil Koretsky, whose bibliography is presented below, is the author of serial cycles associated with one hero. For example, the acclaimed work Antikiller with the film of the same name, in which actor Gosha Kutsenko played the role of the protagonist, major, and then lieutenant-colonel Filip Mikhailovich Korenev, nicknamed "Fox." As of 2016, six novels have been written about the adventures of this hero.

He became the prototype of the commanders of special units in the novels of Danil Arkadevich.

The image of "The Old Man" - a veteran of the organs of Ignat Filippovich Sizov - was written from a real man, participant in the sabotage groups of the Great Patriotic War, Nikolai Ivanovich Bychkov.

At the moment, Danil Koretsky works and lives in Rostov-on-Don with his wife Anna. He has a son who was named after his grandfather - Arkady, and also grandson Daniil and granddaughter Nastya. He continues to engage in creative and scientific activities. And, according to him, the combination of work in law enforcement and literary activity brings him great pleasure, and he is not going to stop at what has been achieved.
