Crochet cap: scheme of work

We will knit, implying that the circumference of the child's head is 52 centimeters (age two or three years). Cap consists of several parts - a visor, a rim on top of it and actually a hat. Let's start with the mating cap. First, we recruit six air loops. We twelve twelve columns with a crochet. We make constant increases. Should get a circle, its size corresponds to the volume of the head. Then we knit without adding to the required depth. The visor is made separately and attached to the cap by twenty-two pillars without a crochet. Then add three more bars. In the following rows we remove one on each side. The last row - we sew loops without a crochet. Finish the work with straps without crocheting on the bottom of the product. For the decor we will make a strip (rim) about twenty-five centimeters long. To do this, we select a chain of 78 air loops and then we will knit six circles with a column without a crochet. How the bezel is ready, place it above the visor. On the right side, secure with inconspicuous stitches, and on the left side with a large button. So, the cap, crocheted for the boy, is bound independently, ready. You can decorate it in different ways, for example, make an applique. The main thing - show your imagination! Let's consider one more model of a cap. Crochet in this case will be more difficult, so be patient.

Master class № 2: cap with a rigid visor

For work you will need:

  • Yarn (two hundred grams);
  • plastic bottle;
  • Hook number 5;
  • Paper visor template;
  • scissors;
  • pencil.

Scheme of work

We begin to knit a cap at first from the calculation that the head coverage is 56 centimeters. First of all, we connect the bottom. To do this, we collect a circle with columns without a crochet with additions. After its diameter reaches eighteen centimeters, we add the loops. The height of the cap should be seventeen centimeters. To strengthen the rim at the bottom we sew one row with a column without a crochet. Now let's get to the peak. To make it shaped, take a paper template, apply it to a plastic bottle, draw a pencil and cut out a future insert of this solid material.

Now we will make a cover for the visor. We collect eighteen air loops and add three loops for lifting. We send the first row of columns with a crochet. Before you start to knit the second row, turn the product, then we knit it in a column without a crochet. In the next row - a column without a crochet and a connecting loop. We turn over the workpiece again and select the fourth row with a connecting loop, which will help us to move to the column without a crochet. Then we knit only with a cuff, and at the very end we sew a connecting loop. Cover for visor is ready. That's almost ready to crochet cap for the boy, it remains quite a bit. We paste the previously prepared template from the bottle. The visor is lined around the edge. Sew to the cap itself. You can also cover the visor with a cotton cloth. Suitable is a cap, crocheted for a boy tied according to the description, for a child of 7-8 years of age .
