Comatose state - a consequence of internal diseases and injuries

The famous scientist Bogolepov, gave the most accurate description of the medical concept of diagnosis of patients, in which there is no active state of human functions. It is determined by a pronounced inhibition of the nervous system, a state of deep loss of feelings and consciousness with absence, not only motor, skin analyzers, but also visual, olfactory and auditory reflexes. It is a coma or a coma of a patient.

The concept of a coma in itself differs from the definitions inherent in a state of deep sleep, which, if necessary, can be interrupted by external stimuli. The patient, who is in a coma, does not show signs of reaction to external and internal stimuli, they are not able to return the patient to consciousness.

What nevertheless is this - the signs of a coma and what is a coma? They should not be perceived as a state of stupor - insensitivity and immobility. Because in a state of stupor, a person is in a state of stupor, without having the body react to external stimuli, but retaining the signs of consciousness.

Various signs of symptoms are known for the definition of coma. First of all, the coma is due to the presence of disorders in the cerebral circulation, which manifest themselves as hemorrhages. Their development occurs suddenly, has the form of a stroke with apoplexy of a coma.

Symptoms of a coma

The presence of hemiplegia - a paralytic syndrome, at the very beginning of coma development may indicate the emergence of foci that affect the activity of the brain.

In some cases, the comatose state is manifested by pronounced manifestations of the initial contracture, periodic, tonic spasms in the limbs that arise in the process of squeezing brain substances that occur during a hemorrhage.

One of the main symptoms that characterize a coma is loss or loss of consciousness, can be combined with fits that resemble epileptic seizures, which largely depict the cause of coma.

In the presence of chronic diseases that lead to the defeat of the functions of the internal organs and coma, a condition that can be defined as a predecomatous state of the body can develop.

It should be added that there is a need to emphasize the development of a sequence of symptoms that accompanies a coma. In this situation, when signs of psychomotor agitation and epileptic seizures may indicate the development of paralysis with the presence of cerebral hemorrhage.

One of the most severe forms that cause complications in children who are forced to suffer from diabetes mellitus is a ketoacidotic coma, the manifestation of which requires an immediate reaction of others, fast, urgent and, most importantly, qualified and professional medical care. Children who for a long time are observed as suffering from diabetes mellitus may fall into a coma because of interruptions in the treatment with insulin preparations or the reason for injecting a reduced dose.

A sharp reaction of the body can be caused by gross violations of eating rules, deviations from diet, abuse of foods that contain a lot of carbohydrates and fats. The same reaction of the child's body can be observed with trauma, emotional overstrain, incorrect and inadequate method of treating patients. Only daily monitoring of the sick child's condition can protect the children's body from the severe consequences of comatose manifestations.
