Chuvash poet Konstantin Ivanov: biography, creativity

Incredibly talented person Konstantin Ivanov (1890-1915 gg.). He was the founder of Chuvash literature and poetry, the educator of the people, a remarkable singer, painter, master and teacher. Ivanov Konstantin Vasilevich died a very young guy - he lived only 25 years. Despite this, Konstantin Ivanov is worthy to be remembered and talked about even after his death, so this article is dedicated to him. Konstantin Ivanov, the biography of the poet

KV Ivanov was born in a small village of Slekbash, located in the Ufa province, in May 1890 in a family of literate and inquisitive peasants. His father struggled to give children education, engaged in their upbringing and development. He wrote various journals, loved to read and was fond of studying agriculture. Vasily Ivanov passed his skills with love to the younger generation, invested his knowledge and life experience in children.

Little Konstantin Ivanov spent a lot of time next to his beloved grandmother. At eight, he happily went to primary school, and then moved to the city of Belebeevskoe College. In 1903, a thirteen-year-old boy was already distinguished by diligence and ingenuity, so he easily passed all the tests and entered the prestigious Simbirsk Chuvash school, though, then only in the preparatory class. Constantine studied endlessly and was very eager to become a good student, so he worked hard to pass the exams and successfully passed them.

Love for creativity

During this time Konstantin Vasilievich Ivanov became very fond of carving in wood, was fascinated by carpentry and portrait painting. He could barely get out of the workshop, in order for the boy at least to disperse and take a walk with his peers. Konstantin Vasilyevich Ivanov was not interested in children's toys - he was occupied with more serious and adult affairs. He himself built small furniture, various lockers, painted portraits and was engaged in decorating for local performances. At the same time, Konstantin Ivanok read the works of Russian and world classics and remained enthusiastic about them. He was engaged in professional photography and took great pictures. His love for creativity persisted and increased every year and did not fade to the end of his life.

The political side

The young and ambitious Konstantin Ivanov had a democratic attitude and in 1905 he could not remain calm and did not take part in the actions of the First Russian Revolution. He writes an aggressive "Chuvash Marselzu", where he calls people to a rally against tsarism. After the protest, he is expelled from the city school, and he leaves for his village. The poet's hatred of social injustice was maintained throughout his life and reflected in his creative activity. Konstantin Ivanov dreamed that the day would come when the beloved Chuvash people would free themselves from the old foundations.

Ivan Yakovlev

A significant role in the fate of Konstantin Vasilyevich was played by Ivan Yakovlev. This man was the inspector of the Chuvash schools, the teacher and the head of educational activity in the Simbirsk school. Thanks to him, Ivanov began to translate and publish Chuvash books. A lot of poems, songs and works were translated by him. Konstantin Ivanov in the Chuvash language copied the works of Lermontov, Ogarev, Nekrasov, Balmont and other famous people. Thanks to the Chuvash enlightener Ivan Yakovlev, this kind of activity later became one of Ivanov's main occupations.

Creative activity

The peak of Konstantin Ivanov's creative activity became in 1907-1908, when he wrote such works as "The Devil's Slave", "Iron Moll", "Widow" and the world-famous poem "Narspi". The tragic love story of Narspi and Setner made Constantine a real celebrity. Even today, after almost a hundred years, people admire the poem and can not remain indifferent after reading. Peder Khuzangai translated the poem into Russian and called it "the national miracle and the peak of the culture of Chuvashia".

Soon there is a whole book with the poet's works. Verses by Konstantin Ivanov find their fans and become a national treasure. On the 40th anniversary of the favorite teacher of the Simbirsk school the poet prepared a special gift. Konstantin Ivanov, he wrote and dedicated her poem "Our Time".

In 1909, at the beginning of spring, a young attractive guy, already a poet, passed the exams and became a folk teacher of drawing and calligraphy in the women's school, which is in the possession of the Simbirsk school. He actively participates in the preparation of a textbook for the creation of Chuvash songs and poems to them. And together with his colleagues Ivanov publishes a new "Primer for the Chuvashes", where Russian letters were used. In addition to beautiful poems, poems and translations, Konstantin Ivanov gave the world a lot of graphic and sculptural works.

The death of Konstantin Vasilyevich Ivanov

In 1914, the poet fell seriously ill. Serious form of tuberculosis ruined him almost in half a year. Death occurred on March 13, 1915, and Konstantin Ivanov did not live very long until his twenty-fifth birthday. He was buried in his native village of Slekbash. To some extent, he still managed to give freedom to the Chuvash people, namely, an unusually important freedom of speech.

The memory of Konstantin Ivanov

Despite the fact that this great extraordinary talented person left this world so early, he will remain forever in our hearts. His monument stands on Red Square in the city of Cheboksary, there is also a memorial plaque and a bust of KV Ivanov. In his honor the Chuvash Academic Drama Theater was built. In the city there are also a square and a street named after the poet. A memorial museum was opened in Ivanov's homeland. His name is included in the world encyclopedia, so in the memory of the people Konstantin Ivanov will never die. In the Chuvash Republic, 2015 is recognized as the poet's memory year.
