The medicine is prescribed to patients who have a disease of the joints or the spine that are destructive or degenerative, that is, the cartilaginous tissue is destroyed. This chondroprotector is good for early stages of arthrosis, spondyloarthrosis, osteochondrosis and osteoarthritis. On sale you can find two types of medication: "Artradol" - lyophilizate for injections and "Artradol" - tablets. The price of both forms of the drug is approximately the same. The first one is designed to make an injection solution that helps the healing substance (chondroitin sodium sulfate) to get into the blood more quickly. Getting into the body, the medicine accelerates the exchange of phosphorus and calcium in the joints, it relieves pain, inhibits the destruction of tissues.
Rules of admission
Usually, the course of treatment with the drug "Artradol" (reviews of practicing doctors confirm this) is 25-35 injections, but in each individual case the doctor personally determines the duration of treatment. Most often the drug is administered (intramuscularly), starting with 0.1 grams. To do this, the contents of the ampoule (100 mg) are dissolved in 1 ml of water for injection. The injections are done every other day. If there are no allergies or side effects, starting with the fourth dose of the injection can be increased. If a second course is required, then it is prescribed no earlier than six months later. The medicine accumulates in the cartilaginous tissue, preventing its destruction and stimulating the production of substances that restore bone and joint tissue.

The drug is not prescribed only to children and people with an allergy to chondroitin sodium sulfate. At the injection site, bruises may appear, but they do not apply to side effects. With the correct introduction and observance of the recommendations of a doctor or a nurse, their appearance can be avoided. If the substance is administered concomitantly with blood preparations, the patient is recommended to take more tests for coagulation.
