If the product requires compliance with a certain thermal regime, then a tank with a special heat-insulating coating is chosen.

Isothermal wagons can be divided into several classifications:

- On purpose, the cars are divided into special, universal and wagons for perishable goods.

- According to the cooling method, isothermal cars can be cooled with liquefied gases, ice, a mixture of ice and salt or with machine cooling.

- If the cargo requires a higher temperature, then cars with electric heating, stove-ovens, or simply the walls of the car are covered with a material with increased thermal insulation.

Isothermal wagons are very convenient for carrying a certain type of cargo, thanks to a special rig, they allow you to keep the original freshness of the products until the end of the trip.
