Birth and family

The famous Brazilian master of riding sports cars was born on October 15, 1983. His hometown is Sao Paulo. Bruno Senna is a nephew of the legendary three-time champion of the most prestigious Formula 1 Ayrton Senna, who died on the track in San Marino in 1994. The mother of our hero is Vivienne Senna, and the late father, who crashed on a motorcycle in 1995, Flavio Lally.

Racing career

In 2005, Bruno Senna spent five races in the British Formula - WWII and Formula Renault, after which he decided to go to the British Formula-3. At that time, his highest achievements were three podium lifts in seven races, which he conducted as part of the Räikkönen Robertson Racing team.

The following year, the Brazilian at the Australian Grand Prix won three races out of four. At the end of the season, the racer was able to take the third place in the overall standings, gaining 269 points.

Going to GP2

In the period 2007-2008. The athlete acted as a member of the Arden International team in the GP2 series. Already in the debut race for himself, he was able to finish fourth on the track in Bahrain, and after some time he won the stage in Spain.

The race at Silverstone for a Brazilian can not be called successful. He started in it from the last place because of poorly conducted qualifications. However, during the ride, he was able to arrive the eleventh.

In 2008, Bruno changed the team. That year he managed to win the race in Monte Carlo.

Acquaintance with Formula-1

Bruno Senna first sat behind the wheel of the race car race Formula 1 in November 2008, when he conducted tests for the Honda team in the Catalan capital of Barcelona. In Italy, however, Bruno took ninth place, due to which he received his first points in Formula-1.

Endurance racing

Racing on electric cars

September 14, 2014, the Brazilian made his debut in Beijing at the wheel of an electric Formula. However, due to problems with electronics, he was forced to retire from the distance.

In the second race of the season, the athlete took the 14th place and managed to break the car on a special wall of old rubber tires.

The third race was somewhat more successful than the previous two - 6th place.
