Bleeding from the uterus: causes and methods of treatment

Uterine bleeding can occur both in physiological and in pathological conditions. Treatment of uterine bleeding completely depends on the underlying cause, which provoked it. Most often, conservative therapy is used with drugs that correct hormonal imbalance and increase the ability of the blood to rapidly coagulate. If bleeding can not be eliminated medically, it is possible to perform a surgical procedure, which consists in the medical curettage of the endometrium or the complete removal of the uterus. In any case, the methods of elimination of uterine bleeding are selected only by the doctor, based on the individual characteristics of the patient's health and the severity of the underlying disease.
