What is a closet-bed?

Therefore, after a dream, it can immediately be raised or pushed together with pillows and blankets, and returned to its former position just before bedtime. The mattress, pillows and blanket are securely fastened with straps that are included in the kit, so when they are raised they will not fall, and when lowered they will remain in their place.

For the first time such a miracle was created by William Lawrence Murphy, so the first time he had the name "Murphy bed". Only later, when the production began to develop and expand, the "Murphy bed" began to be called the usual familiar name for us "closet-bed", or "lifting bed".

What are the closets-beds?

Thanks to the special processing, the service life of the closet-bed is about 50 years. The lifting force depends on the number of springs with which it is equipped. Such mechanisms often have a lifting bed-wardrobe, but it can be with a load on the mechanism of "gas-lift."

The basis of the closet-bed on the gas-lift is that the load goes to it, thereby compensating the weight of the base, which should be reclined. As well as the mechanisms mentioned above, products with a gas-lift differ in load and are selected depending on the weight of the bed's lifting base.

There are turning legs especially for sliding horizontal or vertical wardrobes-beds. They rotate or retract 90 ^degrees and are on the back of the cabinet-bed.

Closet-bed in the children's room

The child's bed-closet has a slightly different design. It is much easier and easier to transform. This is done so that the child himself could lift / slide the bed-wardrobe. The mechanism of the children's model is often a gas-lift, because it is safer than spring. A child folding bed is also called a loft bed, because it can either be at the top (below is a cabinet with shelves and a writing desk), or slide down, and on top is a small playground or table.
