We make flowers from corrugated paper with our own hands

Flowers, these amazing creations of nature, do not leave any woman indifferent. Apparently, the desire for beauty lies in us initially. Therefore, making flowers from corrugated paper with their own hands will be interesting and pleasant for every needlewoman.

Crepe is a material that is easy to work with, and a wide palette of its shades provides great opportunities, limited only by imagination. Depending on the density, corrugated paper products can be very different, but we will consider how to make roses and festive garlands out of it.

What do we need to work?

First of all, these are good scissors. If the tool is not sharp enough, the blades will begin to "bite" the material, and the edges of the petals will turn out to be sloppy.

Flowers made from corrugated paper with their own hands are better made from crepe made in Poland. It has good quality, and the material certainly will not break when forming the parts.

To fix the finished flower you need an adhesive tape with a width of 1 centimeter and a wire from which the stem will form. In shops for florists there are ready stalks of green color, but they are not very easily bent.

If desired, you can decorate the finished flowers with sequins. This can be a manicure sand or special decoration adhesive. When working with the latter, take maximum care so that the petals do not get wet and tear!

We cut off a tape about 8 cm wide from the roll, fold it with an accordion. At the received rectangle 5x8 see cut the top part in the form of a petal. It can not only have a rounded shape. Try to make sharp or elongated petals for different flowers. Unfold the paper strip and lightly move each of the petals from the center to the edges, giving it a volume.

Now we take the lower part of the strip, evenly wrapping it around the circle. The flower parts should lie down freely, without interfering with each other. When the tape is finished or the product seems to be sufficiently voluminous, tighten the staple with adhesive tape. End the stem through the head of the flower and fold the loop. On top decorate the middle of a bead, finely chopped paper or a piece of fabric.

The stalk is wound with a thin strip of green paper starting from the cuttings. At the same time, fasten the crimp lightly and fix the end with a drop of glue.

You can make flowers from corrugated paper with your own hands in one evening in such quantity that they are enough for a whole bouquet.

Scraps of dense crepe, too, should not be thrown away. They are useful in the manufacture of various small crafts. To decorate the hall for the celebration of the birthday or the New Year, you will probably need a garland of corrugated paper. Make it very simple. It is enough to cut out patterns of different color and size. It can be leaves, hearts, bows or sweets - everything that lifts the mood and is associated with the holiday. To connect the fragments of the garland is best with PVA glue, but use it very little. Ready figurines are fixed on kapron thread, and our garland is ready.
