The Puppet Theater (Krasnodar) invites young spectators

Krasnodar is a southern Russian city, located in the immediate vicinity of the Black and Azov Seas. It is considered the capital of the Kuban and the southern capital of the Russian Federation. Among its attractions - museums, galleries, concert halls, monuments, parks - the puppet theater stands out. Krasnodar is proud of this institution. Details about it will tell the article.

Introduction

In the heart of Krasnodar, on its central street, is the puppet theater, the oldest in the Kuban. This temple of art has a rich history, at its sources stood the famous children's writer Samuel Marshak.

The theater itself is located in a two-story building. On the first floor there is a beautifully decorated hall and a cozy hall, designed for 320 spectators. There is also a wardrobe, a buffet and a room for those who wish to "powder the nose". On the second floor there is an exhibition of dolls from different performances.

Before each performance, the animators spend a small "warm-up" with the kids in the lobby. Fun games, music and dances - all this sets the positive, so the young spectators come into the hall with a good mood.

The theatrical season lasts from September to July. During all this time, there are full sold out. In addition to children's performances, the Puppet Theater (Krasnodar) holds creative evenings, anniversary meetings with actors, participates in festivals and competitions.

History

Unfortunately, it is not known exactly when the Regional Puppet Theater was opened. Krasnodar in the city archive contains data that in April 1939 the local "traveling collective farm and state farm puppet theater" was giving performances. From this date the institution, about which the article tells, conducts its history.

However, studies of historians indicate that in 1918 a fateful meeting took place in Krasnodar for the city children's writer Samuel Marshak and poetess Elizabeth Dmitrieva. It is they who own the idea of creating the first puppet theater in the Kuban. They enthusiastically set to work, and on 18.07.1920 local residents on the stage of the Red Army club saw the performance "Flying Chest". After a while, the "Cat's House" and a few other fairytales were also placed here. But in May 1922 Dmitrieva and her husband and Marshaki left the city, and the puppet theater stopped working. Krasnodar saw new views only in 1939.

Today, the performances are held at a high level. A refined direction, a talented actors' play, technical equipment, musical accompaniment - all this makes every fairy tale spectacular and unique. There are many awards in the luggage of the theater.
