- Atrophic changes in the vaginal mucosa, associated with age-related estrogen deficiency (eg, itching, dryness, discomfort in the vagina, painful sensations when having sexual intercourse).

- they are administered once a day vaginally;

- with the improvement of symptoms begin to apply less often - only twice a week.

The duration of the therapeutic course depends on how marked the symptoms of the disease.

In the process of preparing for gynecological operations conducted through the vagina, women in menopausal age are prescribed candles two weeks before surgery, one per day, and after surgery - one twice a week for fourteen days.

This medication is compatible with any medications, including antibiotics, so they are not required to be withdrawn when taking Biovestin. With the preventive purpose, the drug is given a course of two to four weeks twice a year, and to restore the microflora - from two weeks to two to three months.

The drug "Biovestin" for newborns and children under one year is prescribed up to one milliliters per day, children from one year to twelve - up to six milliliters, adults - up to twelve milliliters.
