As a result, he reached the Shang Tsung Palace, where he was waiting for a trap - two monstrosities, Moloch and Darmin, whom Quan Chi had deliberately subordinated to protect him from a ghostly ninja. Unfortunately, with them Scorpio could not cope, but they could not devour him, as would have been done with any mortal. So they went to the portal to Rai Shan Tsung, from where he took new souls, and threw Scorpio to where his ghostly body was destroyed.

"Mortal Kombat: Cheating"

Many gamers were surprised to learn that in this episode of the game the story of Scorpio continued - after all, everyone thought that he died in a portal to Paradise. But the hero was able to get over into the Void without perishing. It was here that he first saw the Elder Gods, and also watched how Reiden died, how the Dragon King came to unite the two kingdoms - earthly and external. As a result, his goal was achieved - Sab-Zero is dead, but at the same time something still remains unfinished. Scorpio is drawn to the ruins, where there used to be the village of his clan. It is there that the spirits of the members of his clan come to him, who reveal the truth to him. Sub-Zero was just an instrument in the hands of Quan Chi, like Scorpio himself all this time. The ghost-ninja goes to Hell and kills Quan Chi with the help of the spirits of relatives, thereby finally making the long-awaited revenge.
